Well, Lori, I’m a Bachelor ‘newbie’. Listening to you all made me get interested. There’s so much I don’t know but I am into it now. I don’t know all the girls like you all do but there will be another season. The girl he turned down last night...did you all like her or not. Man, was she crying!
Its exciting, happy, sad, all those things. Which of these now are you and others pulling for? I have an appointment for a Catscan today so I don’t know when I will get back today.
Gotta get my shower and make some tracks...LOL!

Very lovely Billie...a bit sad.
I made it through the rain also but a new cloud rolls in occasionally. There are many kinds of rains in our real lives! When that happens, we just ‘keep on keeping on’. And the sun always comes out again.

I bet I will like this! Will listen when I get back this afternoon sometimes. Have that appointment today and like I told Lori, I’ve gotta make some fast tracks NOW! LOL~~~

I am watching this year's American Idol. Truthfully, I didn't watch the past two years very much. As a huge Taylor Hicks fan, I felt the producers and the judges were very disrespectful to him the season following his win. "THEY" hadn't wanted him to win and made very sure to let everyone know in interviews, and 'forgetting' to show him among the previous four Idol winners.
Anyway, I just started watching this season's show again, and there are definitely some very deserving contestants there. I agree that one you're talking about drives me crazy. I do think they keep people like that around just for the buzz. Hopefully the public will vote her off soon. :)

Jillian was my pick for him, but of course, we really only see what the producers want us to see. Much of their time together ends up on the cutting room floor and they won't show us anything that gives away the ending. There has to be a lot of interaction between Jason and the women that isn't even captured on camera. I'm sure if we could see all the behind-the-scenes stuff we would know exactly who he is going to choose....although, according to him, even HE doesn't know.
It's a kind of a shallow reality show, but it passes the time on these cold winter evenings when there is nothing else on TV worth watching. My husband thinks it is just plain silly. He is only half watching the show and truly doesn't care who Jason picks. He says the whole idea of finding your "soul mate" in a bunch of hand picked contestants on a reality show is just....ridiculous. He just isn't getting into the romance of it at all. LOL.

Jaycee, watch Taylor's new video of "What's Right is Right" - premiering today at Yahoo Music. I can't get it to load all the way yet - it's too busy. :( Be prepared to swoon a few times. :)Dang, he's pretty!

Good morning, GG! That poem is one of the most real slices of life I’ve read and I give it a 10.

Definitely! The last verse was great as well. Nobody’s perfect, and it’s just wrong to expect them ot be. Life is much more pleasant when you learn to live with someone’s foibles and quirks. :)

Gonna venture out into the rain this afternoon to snap some pictures of the Amgen Tour bike race as they make their appoach to our fair city (hoping to get a great shot of Lance Armstrong).
The racers started out in San Jose this am and will travel 104 miles to the finish line in the third leg of the race. Expected to arrive in downtown area between 2:30 and 3:30. This is the third stage of the race with completion on Feb 22 down in So California city of Escondido (east of San Diego).

I had been watching The Bachelor and hadn't missed a night until last night, have been sick with the flu and don't even remember last night. Good news is I've lost 10 pounds!
Melissa was the one that I thought Jason would pick, they seem to have a strong chemistry between them.

Very pretty graphic, I like this frame.
