I sympathize. I remember when my mother quit smoking (and then started again, and then quit again, etc.). It’s very difficult for some people. Cigarettes were cheaper then, of course.

She’s always said she’s going to start smoking again when she’s diagnosed with whatever’s going to kill her, but if the taxes are too high, she might not.

I'll be your moral support in your attempt to quit.

I'm trying to quit or cut down on eating too much chocolate because I'm not supposed to have a lot of caffiene,

I've been good about decaffeinated tea and coffee.

it's chocolate that has me caught.

So I know how hard it is to break a habit.

My pastor used to smoke and he said there is something very comforting about it. He quit a long time ago but still remembers it with fondness.

I read on FR that roll your own tax went up 2200%. And Bush was accused of being fiscally irresponsible?!
