Ping me too, please.
Michelle is a statuesque woman, and could wear clothes well, if she chose styles that were right for her figure.
*snort* Never thought anyone could consider Janet Reno some sort of fashion plate!
but the press is FAST trying to paint her as the “real” looker in this past race. You’ll see, no ass shots, no unflattering angles. Dubya’s wife, far far more attractive. The fotogs in the media haven’t work so hard to find disguise physical faults since Hillary. Time for the wide angle again.
Have you seen Obamas social sec? OMG. Best thing so far about his staff...............by FAR!
Their girls are cute, and no one should ever try to use them to bash their parents. And I agree that the two of them seem very loving to each other. My gripe with them isn’t personal; it’s political. They both hold views that I abhor.
Nice eye candy!
I'll bet they had a fun evening! I think it's wonderful that their Grandmother will be living in the White House with them. It will be much less disruptive for them. They are really cute little girls,
The frock she wore in the Viewing Stand just looked frumpy. The coat fit like a housecoat. And that color shouldn't be worn by ANYONE! ;o)
Absolutely no reason it must be a suit. But the style of the dress should be more understated, more tailored, and with a higher neckline, and a fabric such as wool or crepe, a modest daytime look. Michelle’s is more like a tea dress, not suitable, but that’s because of the style, not because it’s a dress per se. And of course it goes without saying she should have a simple hat. Absolutely a hat. Gloves too, to be completely proper, but that level of decorum is just not observed anywhere anymore I guess, even in church.
PLEASE add me to this list...it's the first time I've laughed in a couple of days !!!!!!
:)
It's what gals do, we can't help it if swishy guys have picked up on it. ;o)
It ranks right up there with letting their thong underwear show above their low rise jeans.
I call it the Britney Spears look. Everytime I see her name now, I think about what I read from some columnist, that she put the 'Ho' in Tangipahoa Parish.
That must be the $30,000 diamond ring Obama bought Michelle after the election “to thank her for all her support.” Downplayed, or possibly blacked out, of US media, I got several reports from the UK.
We “all have to pitch in and give up a little” you know. So glad a man with this financial acumen is here to lead our nation to financial prosperity!
30k, that’s change you can believe in!
She absolutely HATES dresses, and only wears them if she absolutely HAS to. She had to wear skirts for her Catholic school in 5th, 6th and 7th grades, but then we started homeschooling her, and she was happy about not having to wear the skirt anymore. She tried to get away with wearing her Church slacks for Confirmation, but we nixed that, and she does wear a skirt for her college choir. Nowadays, though, she's becoming a little more flexible, and she let me get some clothes for her from J.Jill this summer. They were cute outfits, but still not TOO girly.
ROTFL!
I read somewhere, that it was Jackie who coined the term “Camelot”, after JFK’s death, to create a fantasy of their time in the White House.
I wish mine WOULD! I'd LOVE to have $5000 to spend on clothes!
We have a family friend who always gave her height as 5’- 13 1/2” ;o)
Keep up the good work, GOP_Lady!
Press was unspeakably cruel to Palin but that doesn’t make me feel less guilty about being cruel to somebody else.
Michelle intrigues me,,she is so angry, slouchy and unsure of herself and at the same time you can tell she adores her kids and has a good smile for some.
I am curious about that and wonder if it has always been so or did marriage to Barry bring more misery to her life. She clearly cares for him but has that disrespect that seeps out. I think he has been a disappointing husband.
ANd she cannot weed out good advice from bad advice re fashion.
And lastly, how did the campaign shut her up and are they remaking her into the housefrau,,that has to be very very painful for her.
