Thanks, Amanda King. Who knew that I would ever be able to contribute something of substance here on FR? ;-)
The girls did not attend the evening’s balls. They were at a “Scavenger Hunt” in their honor to learn their way around the White House. A very appropriate activity IMHO. Tired children are tiresome.
You are added, morans14! :-)

I’m sorry, I wasn’t clear ... what Michelle Obama wore to the concert at the Lincoln Memorial was very attractive. I don’t know if Hillary attended or not.
You are added, ocean!
I had a 3rd grade teacher who would whack our desks and say, “Straighten that spine”. Loved Mrs Smith! :-)
The bed wore that dress much better than she did.
To me they look like a couple who is always in the middle of some kind of argument that has to be constrained because all the people that are around.
Yesterday as they and the Bushes were coming down a flight of stairs together Laura was holding onto President Bushs arm and Michelle had her, “I am pissed off about all this” look and was far away from Bambi, finally she took his hand.
Being the competitive couple that they are I’m sure it will take some time for her to get use to the idea that she’s not the important one anymore.
It doesn’t matter what the poor thing wears. It wouldn’t matter if Stacy and Clinton took her under their wing for a month, or if they dressed her every day. She doesn’t have what it takes to carry it off. She’s uncomfortable, she looks it. She will eventually get better, but she will never be able to pull off fashionable clothes or be comfortable in a formal environment.
She is the 100th fashionista on our MICHELLE FASHION POLICE ALERT LIST!
