Savage is my breath of fresh air, rush tends to carry the water too much.
Recommendation: (from former third grade teacher) Instead of Obambi’s, try a truely historic one - read out loud any from Geo. Washington or the REAL Lincoln - the only thing that’s historic is the color of his skin (his speech has been heard in the USSR before) and I thought we were trying to teach the future generations not to care about the skin color.
I’ve already shut down anything tv political and will remain in blackout mode for at least a week.
LOL. All that’s missing is Handel’s ‘Messiah’. Seriously.
I’ll be working, maybe watching ‘The Taking of Pelham 123’ if there’s time.

2) rent a ton of DVDs to watch for 3 days
3) watch reruns of old movies on AMT

hulu.com has some great old TV shows like “The Time Tunnel” and “Adam-12.”
Just received two John Lee Hooker dvds and one Howlin’ Wolf dvd. Got a bottle of vodka (Tito’s) and some Moosehead. I’ll be fine.
You can’t escape. ESPN is covering it. Even the sci-fi channel and the Food Network is covering the inauguration.
I will be at work all day.
But no CNNBCBS websites.
Heck, I might not even come here because we will get 300 threads talking about how we are tired of talking about Obama.
Then I’ll go home, crack open a beer and head out to the garage. I got a weed eater that stopped running.
I’ll probably put in a 14-16 hr. day of work, then watch Food Network.
Already planned - I can’t stand the thought and certainly will not watch the beginning of the end of the USA.
...and leave it off.
I’ll be cleaning rifles, re-loading ammo, and bottling home-made beer.......while listening to the radio.
I had Savage on last Friday and he was talking about what a nice guy Obama is and he was still bashing Bush.
Limbaugh said he is broadcasting the speech. Guess I will listen to it through that filter.
Canceled Direct last week - the morning DISH guys were due to set up ... then DISH guys said they couldn't install install until I get a couple trees cut down - then we promptly got buried with more snow and cutter can't get to trees!
I haven't watched news since Nov,,, but I missed 24 Sunday night - and Beck/Palin last night! arrrgh.
I'll watch 24 online, so all is not lost.
Outside of those two and and occasional NEW episode of The Naked Archaeologist and some History channel stuff - I miss TV not at all
I’d rather watch infomercials than that dog show.
