Have not been able to post much the last few days as I am still trying to transfer all the messed up files from my old computer to my new. Happy to see that Jem is making progress on her trip. I myself would like to hide on an island for the next month. Can’t even get away from it just trying to read the local news in our little town paper. The food editor had an article about how nice it will be that our new president will be the first to serve organic food at the white house. OMG!

Hi, everyone! I have been on a retreat called "Christ Renews His Parish" all weekend. It was excellent, and uplifted my spirits and reminded me that through all of this, God is in control.

Jemian...you got out of town just in time, before the hoopla got into full swing! Safe travel prayers for you!

I had an excellent day on eBay today. I think a lot of people are afraid that certain items are going to be scarce in the months ahead. I take profits where I can.

Mr. Marple was home this weekend for a job interview in Ohio for a job in Illinois. It still wouldn't be here but it would be closer. While I was at the retreat he CLEANED THE CARPETS (because he didn't want to watch the Zero coverage). What a guy! I take him back to the airport tomorrow morning, early.

Just getting caught up on everything. Hope everyone had a nice weekend.
