Dirk Vander Ploeg, the Publisher of UFO Digest, recently asked me if I knew of alien abductions having been stopped by the utterance of the name of Jesus. He told me that 'apparently this information is being withheld by Mufon and other reporters, investigators etc.'
I reminded him that I had written about the possibility of such occurrences in several articles including, Extraterrestrials Tremble at the Name of Jesus, UFO Digest March 29, 2007, and more recently The Birth of Christ caused the Extraterrestrial Extraterrestrials Tremble at the Name of Jesus, UFO Digest March 29, 2007, and more recently The Birth of Christ caused the Extraterrestrial Fallen Angels to Tremble December 3, 2008.
The word of God tells us that demons (as well as fallen angels, i.e. extraterrestrials) tremble at the name of Jesus (James 2:19) because God highly exalted Him and bestowed on Him the name which is above all names (Philippians 2:9). At the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow of those on the earth, and those under the earth and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:10).
My own article last year, My Anonymous CIA Source: The Real Story of UFOs, UFO Digest, 6/16/08, revealed that my source in Washington who worked for the CIA for 25 years after working, I believe, for the top secret Operation Paperclip after WWII which brought Nazi scientists to America, some of whom were supposedly involved in flying saucer research, and who was in charge of security for President Kennedys visit to Germany in the early sixties, and was confidant to later Presidents, told me to stay with my UFO writings about the Bible. He then told me that you have the truth. All else is opinion. This statement from a man whom I trust and who served in the highest echelons.
Word of God
Bad Fiction.
Know the difference. I could save your life.
I gather you haven’t read what The Bible has to say about the Nephilium any more than some of your cohorts have . . . either.
Calvinists really should get their act & their info much more together in this field.
It’s getting embarrassing . . . as fellow Christians.
I gather you havent read what The Bible has to say about the Nephilium any more than some of your cohorts have . . . either.
I've read what little the bible says about the nephilim, plenty of times.
"Cunningly devised fables" devised by the overcaffeinated, I ignore.
(Apropos of discussions elsewhere, BTW, today's reading has taken me through Jeremiah 23. You should review that, esp. v.9 on.)
YEAH,
I’ve spent a lot of time with Jeremiah the last month or 3.
I think LOTS of Calvinists need to be VERY sobered by Jer 23:9
INDEED!
. . . sobered, if not contrite, repentant and sitting in sackcloth and ashes.
Thanks for the clarification.
So tell me, how many alien abductions have you experienced?
I’m a bit puzzled . . .
Is it a perceptual problem?
A learning problem?
A dictionary problem?
A chronic obsessive obtuseness problem?
How many times would you like the question answered? . . . since once seems to be inadequate for the thought processes.
Or would rereading post 259 solve it?
Let me indulge the cheekiness and try again . . .
I don’t recall ever being abducted by greys or any other ET race.
I did have what may have been attempted abductions in my childhood/teen years. THE NAME AND BLOOD OF JESUS WERE QUITE ADEQUATE to stop such goings on.
Now once again . . .
AND YOU?
Glad to know you were not abducted by aliens.
(chuckle)
Here is one reason why you cant take Chuck Missler seriously. Shoddy exegesis linked to speculative/fraudulent science. A truly bad combination.
I heard Missler say a couple things on the podcast that came down this morning (19jan2009) that I agreed with. "Don't believe anything Chuck Missler says, but search the scriptures to see that these things are true." -- Amen! And "Ezekiel is about more than Ezekiel 38 and 39." -- Yea and amen.
The streak didn't last, though. He went on to say that Hebrews was about the Davidic dynasty and the millennium.
I guess I should follow my instincts in such cases . . .
I kind of suspected it was a sort of
DORK OF THE THREAD COMPETITION.
Disbelieving Hebrews doesn’t make Missler wrong on that score.
Gee, and I thought it was just your average kook thread.....lol.
Have a nice day.
A whole lot of aliens are named Jesus: from Mexico, and Central America, and South America.
Paging RaceBannon to the thread.
I hope to see RaceBannon’s comments here.
I aint goin there.....
Your confidence is underwhelming.
Such sweetness.
I hope it’s not Splenda. Dreadful stuff.
INDEED.
Are you guys doing OK vis a vis
visas etc.? What can you share?
