Here is one reason why you can’t take Chuck Missler seriously. Shoddy exegesis linked to speculative/fraudulent science. A truly bad combination.

I heard Missler say a couple things on the podcast that came down this morning (19jan2009) that I agreed with. "Don't believe anything Chuck Missler says, but search the scriptures to see that these things are true." -- Amen! And "Ezekiel is about more than Ezekiel 38 and 39." -- Yea and amen.

The streak didn't last, though. He went on to say that Hebrews was about the Davidic dynasty and the millennium.

Disbelieving Hebrews doesn’t make Missler wrong on that score.

In a sense he is right, since we are in the new covenant and Christ is presently reigning from David’s throne in heaven and therefore we are in the thousand years, the saints being kings and priests with Him. The real problem with Missler and his ilk is that their timing is way off.
