What about the operating copy of OS X that exists on the Psystar computer? Is that installed copy purchased by the end user from Apple?

No. What's on the Psystar is a "hacked" version of OS X from the
OSx86 Project (There's no collusion, though. Psystar is pretty much ripping off the volunteers at the project). Psystar will also send you a shrink-wrapped copy of OS X, but you can't use it to do a reinstall since that copy looks for specific Mac hardware, and won't continue the process unless it's found.

It’s about time they dumped the dumb anti-trust angle and concentrated on the real issue, abuse of copyright.
Don’t think this is only about Apple. If Psystar wins the precedent will be a big win for the rights of the people and bringing sanity back to copyright.
