If O's lips really are blue, as opposed to just due to his dark skin pigment, then there's something physically wrong with him. And mentally.

This was the most painful semi-final that I ever remember. It was surreal! I wouldn't know how to describe tonight's show to anyone that didn't see it.

Maybe we should hope Norman makes it.....at least he kept me awake!
I’m guessing Allison and Adam and who else I haven’t a clue.

We have DishNet and can only get one channel at a time, so I had to make a choice between the last hour of AI and my other favorite show, "Life." "Life" won, and I was really annoyed at missing the last hour of AI, but now that I've read the comments on the last hour ... I'm not nearly as disappointed as I was! LOL!
Boy, I am not impressed with anyone so far. Lookin' like a blah season, unless they have some ringers in Group 3. That redhaired Allison at least was exciting, but I predict vocal issues for her as the season wears on (if she gets to stay). Those upper notes of hers sounded good, but forced. That's not good, in a youngster.

Hope and change can bite my chunky white butt. Sounds like a Ben & Jerry's ice cream flavor. BWAAAHAAHAA! Boring singers make for great one liners!

Ugh. Whatta show tonight. Let's see how I change up my picks
Group #2 (next week)
Top Male: Adam
Top Female: Jasmine
Number 3: Matt B
Wildcard: Mishavonna
On the bubble: Kai Predicted order by votes
1 Adam Lambert * #1 male
2 Matt Breitzke * #3
3 Kai Kalama
4 Nick Mitchell/Norman Gentle
5 Matt Giraud
6 Kris Allen
1 Jasmine Murray * #1 female
2 Mishavonna Henson * wildcard
3 Jesse Langseth
4 Megan Joy Corkrey
5 Allison Iraheta
6 Jeanine Vailes
as always, things could change because of performances
Predicted order by votes
1 Adam Lambert * #1 male (Didn't hurt himself, showed good range, should get a lot of the "Ashley" vote)
2 Matt Breitzke * #3 (Performance was good, although he should have rocked more in the rockin' part, a la Daughtry)
3 Kai Kalama (I liked his performance. May be able to get the third slot. At least a wildcard)
4 Nick Mitchell/Norman Gentle (Horrendous. Will get votes nonetheless. Would the non-Simon judges use a wildcard to keep him alive?)
5 Kris Allen (after no exposure until tonight, he has no fan base, no chance. Did OK with a Michael Jackson song. Nice to finally see you Kris. Nice seeing you Kris.)
6 Matt Giraud (Dreadful and disappointing)
1 Allison Iraheta * #1 female (Darkhorse with little exposure may win #1 female slot by default. She was OK but there was still lots of room for improvement. Has the pipes.)
2 Mishavonna Henson (OK singing. Looks marketable. May get wildcard)
3t Megan Joy Corkrey (OK singing. Weird stage presence; almost Joe Cocker-ish in mannerisms)
3t Jasmine Murray (most disappointing performance of the night for me. I expected more. Poor song choice. May get second chance)
3t Jesse Langseth (song choice didn't allow her to show her range. Barely made the cut in an uninspired sing-off. Probably a goner)
6 Jeanine Vailes (little exposure prior and tonight didn't help at all. Gone.)

Dial Idol shows
#1 Female - Allison Iraheta (redheaded 16 year old)
#1 Male - Adam Lambert
in the #3 spot Matt Giraud
with Jesse Langseth a close 4th.
I would have liked Megan Corkrey in the 3rd or 4th spot. I still would like to hear another song or two from her to see how she would sound.

AOL shows Adam Lambert, Megan Corkrey and Jasmine Murray as the top vote getters.
Do you have any favorites at this point?

Why he chooses to hide behind that bad comedy routine, I can't even begin to guess. It isn't going to win him the competition -- unless this year's audience is all composed of Obama voters. This show has been on for 8 years and by now it's easy to figure out. It's not about the singing at this stage and was never about the singing for ole Norman. It's about the schtick. Someone's going to see him, and put him in a spot made for his character. Just watch. I will REMEMBER him, even though I don't like him.
AI is about the after effect which produces this forum and the hundreds like it, not to mention all the TV and radio. But you know this...

I dont care if he sucks, Im still voting for him!Well, he doesn't suck, and he can sing, but he is BOOOOOOOORING!
His movement isn't particularly natural either. Like Michael, those two guys belong in the country genre, and need to stick to it!
Adam, Red haired Heart Chick, and Tat Novel Arm most likely move on...

The lead singer, Chris Martin, seems to have a high opinion of himself. He's married to Gwyneth Paltrow. Yeah, and ironically Paltrow sang "Betty Davis Eyes" in some movie about Karaoke, and it was awesome. She was fabulous singing that song.
Pretty HOT too!
