Those images are excellent!
Are you ready for the show tonight? Any guesses on who performs first and who performs last?
BTW.... did you read the link in #6452? What do you think
I am sooooo ready for the show tonight..after the circus of last night...
I’m thinking Adam Lambert will go last...but what do I know! lol I do know he has quite a following already.
Oh, The Swimmer did something for Mary Jo, alright. He murdered her. Whether it was of the deliberate 1st or 2nd degree variety, or the manslaughter/negligent homicide variety, we'll never know, but Ted surely did murder her.
We should also bear in mind that the Senate Democrats never even entertained a fleeting notion of doing the ethical and moral thing about booting him out of Congress. People who foolishly insist there's no difference between Democrats and Republicans should ask themselves which party has the most murderers and former Ku Klux Klan members serving in the U.S. Senate.
Glad you enjoyed them. :)
Netizen, I'm just catching up to the thread today. I really love Adam's voice. He's a good-looking guy, with a ton of talent. The only knock I have on him is that he comes across too gay, which is a visceral turn-off for me. Even so, this guy might be the most gifted singer in this year's competition.
On a related note, I don't know why Simon continues to knock singers (like Adam) with a more theatrical style. Talent is talent no matter what type of venue/genre an artist prefers. Because of Simon's odd prejudice against theatrical singers, Adam is going to have to deliver his songs in a very contemporary pop way.
Thanks for sending me those links, especially that one. I happen to be a big fan of musical theater and the old Hollywood musicals.
Just kidding. I predict this guy will be sandwiched somewhere in the middle.
A guy first and a girl last, to make it the opposite of last week?
I just hope they don’t make the sixteen-year-old go first this week.
Or an urn under their arm.
BTW.... did you read the link in #6452? What do you think
Yes, and I'm not sure yet. I like his voice, BUT, we haven't really heard a lot of these people yet, so when we have, he might not be the front runner. It's too early to tell.
I agree with you, which is why I hope they don't try to make the show be too POP. It's good to keep variety and that means Country, Jazz, Musicals. Quite a few AI contestants have gone on to Broadway and they seem to enjoy it. This is my opinion helps Idol to be a better show because it helps people break into various avenues.
I knew you’d like that link. :) It is very well done and for those that haven’t seen it, you just might like it.
I tell you why, because they can't sell CD's mainstream. Remember, this is AI not American Theatrical Productions. Simon has to see these people can sell the whole package, not just in America, but all over the world.
Sad, but Styx would so flop today it's not even funny!
I meant to include you in my last post with Netizen.
