Umm, no you won't. Simon has repeatedly said he is not mean to be mean (well, not totally), but because it is a kindness to disabuse people who have no talent from wasting their time -- or LIVES -- pursuing something that they will never attain.

They let a few stinkers through tonight.
I liked the Hispanic beauty queen, but then—I am a huge Charo fan.
The plain Jane has a very nice voice.
As usual, they did not let us hear the best ones tonight.TG that preliminary auditions are over after tomorrow night.
I’m looking forward to Hollywood, where they all get mean and nasty and try to beat each other up.
