We watched House reruns earlier, then Idol. Now we have Dirty Jobs on, its a new one.

We went out for dinner for my birthday and we and the others we were with were joking about Obama, but we had to be careful when other patrons started arriving.

I would love to put an upside down flag on our vehicle, but I worry someone would key the vehicle.

I have sort of a silly question for you- or really anyone who can answer it. I saw on your FR page that you have the Weston Price ping list and was wondering if you take coconut oil?

I’ve started using it on my hair and skin and it’s just amazing. My hair is so soft and shiny and my skin is softer, too. This time of year, both are usually so dry. But I have a hard time working it into my food. I put a little in soup or hot thing so that it melts, but outside of that I have no clue what to do with it.

Hi Jonny. Sorry I'm late to tonight's AI festivities. ROFL at Sanjaya's face on Obama.

So there I was today, blissfully ignoring all things Obama and all things news, except for a few posts here on FR. I was listening to KOST 103.1 FM here in L.A., this market's "easy rock" station, when out of the blue the DJ announces that, in a few minutes, they were going to play a special tribute to Obama by Celine Dion. Crapola! Can't even get away from it while tucking myself in to the local easy listening radio station. Blech!

I can’t even watch FOX. The way they slobbered over that O-person during the election debates, I had no hope whatsoever they would be able to keep it together today. I have no idea how that turned out, because I tuned out.

I haven’t really watched the news since the election. Just bits and pieces here and there. I think I’m going to like living in ignorance. It IS bliss. ;^)

I was talking to my friend earlier and one of the truck drivers who was dropping off asked him if it was his last day. He said, "No, why?" The driver said, "Because Obama is going to be president and we are all going to be millionaires." They just started cracking up and ripped on all the Obamaites.

My friend was pretty upset and I ended up giving him some kind of Jimmy Stewart "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington" speech. LOL I told him that America has survived worse and we will survive this. The American spirit does not depend on who occupies the White House. Now I'm going to get some crackers to go with my cheese. :-P
