I just also saw on Fox, the First youngins, the sea hag, and the idiot in Chief get ogg Marine One....they were dressed like slobs, and the difference between the Bush’s and the Husseins, is PALPABLE! Up to and including the half assed “salute” the Idiot rendered to the Marine.

Seacrest elaborates, he has us look at elimination video of Chris Daughtry, Jennifer Hudson, Tamyra Gray. "America, you told us they left too soon."The judges can "save" an eliminated contestant. But the decision has to be unanimous--all four judges must say yes.
The catch is, if they do that, no one will be eliminated that week. And the season will run that much longer.
The following week there would be two eliminations. AND, they can only use the save once in a season AND once we get to the top 5 they cannot use it.
Having said that, they would NOT have been able to save Daughtry with this new rule because Daughtry was eliminated at from the top 4! Simon assures us that this isn't reversing America's decision. Then what is it then?

Foresight isn't 20-20, hindsight is. True. I agree with all your comments.
I don't remember a huge uproar when Jennifer Hudson was cut. She was one of three or four black divas that season, so Idol probably felt they had their bets covered regardless.
It was only after Hudson won the Oscar that they began featuring her in their best-of video segments.
