Ok folks here's the new thread for the new season.
.................................................................................Set in Washington, DC, "Day 7" opens four years after Season Six with CTU dismantled and JACK BAUER on trial. Bauer's day takes an unexpected turn when former colleague TONY ALMEIDA returns. Meanwhile, newly elected President ALLISON TAYLOR leads the country alongside White House Chief of Staff ETHAN KANIN and First Gentleman HENRY TAYLOR.
A national security crisis prompts an investigation by a team of FBI agents including JANIS GOLD, RENEE WALKER, LARRY MOSS and SEAN HILLINGER. Although CTU is no longer, CHLOE O'BRIAN and BILL BUCHANAN are back for another momentous day of shocking events.
Is this 24 or "General Hospital"?
Either way 24 is like a soap opera this season
Some good action but too many sudsy scenes
Tony spent a long time with some really bad guys and it's warped his beliefs.
Yeah Tony has that dark edgy eternal two day stubble look
The inner torment is palpable from 50 ft away (LOL)
Tony is really working for John Gotti
And FBI Larry will live because Tony never kills any of the good guys
BINGO! BINGO! BINGO! My thoughts precisely! Let’s hope so...I kind of liked Larry...about fell off the couch when I saw what Tony was doing!
yes, I really liked it..lighter than the special effects, blow up everything & sci fi I normally see & like!
Notice when the camera was exiting that scene, Larry's arms seemed extended upwards....I thought that was kind of odd and led me to think he really wasn't dead. How's THAT for a clue! ha!

HI, turned off TV & went to sleep right after show.
what an episode. still sorting through it all mentally. Jack looks pretty healthy in preiviews so a lot must happen healing wise in an hour?
LOL... then, you must have loved the Watchmen. I went with my son. I literally had to turn my head away from the screen at times... ugh.
Although, at other times, I enjoyed it quite alot. ;-)
Yea... I crack jokes with my wife now... calling her shows (The Batchelor) "stupid"... I tell her, "you should come watch this FOR REAL stuff... like, Zimbabwe terrorist taking the President hostage in the White House!" :-)
I'm always amazed at just how BRILLIANT these bad guys are. Thank goodness, they're mostly Dumb A's in real life.
I think you’re spot on!
lol, I noticed that too....surely rigor mortis wouldn’t set in that fast :))
Watchman was different.. not the typical superheroes. I had not heard much about it and was surprised... but liked it . I try to be objective on most movies. They each have a different perspective..
Yesterday saw Knowing.. the previews looked good but the ratings did not..decided to see it as a few friends from church said they liked it & I like Nic cage. Better than the 30 or so percent Rotten Tomatoes gave it.
Excellent special effects. UFO enthusiasts will like it..
well, could chat about movies all day but dont want to further hijack the thread & I need to leave (like half hour ago - running late). Just can’t pass on that one last “refresh”..
lol
have a good week Tim.. see you next Monday if not sooner on the forum
SPOILER INFO FOR FRINGE. Now this is from memory from last Wednesday when I watched this so I believe I am fairly accurate, but your mileage may vary.
They had stopped the van, she notices the yellow tree air freshener (remembering the boys yellow M&M design on the tray) and orders him out of the van. I believe he drove off fast and crashed or abandoned the van and jumped over a fence with her in foot pursuit. She gets him (I believe he was just captured and not killed, but memory is fuzzy on that part). When they looked in the back of the van, they found his latest kidnapped victim who is still alive. She asks the black agent in charge for help with the boy so that he doesn't end up in the hands of the other agency (the higher CIA guy). The lady social worker takes him to a facility/home and at the end you see another older bald man (looks to be in his 20's or 30's) walking on the sidewalk heading away from the facility and he stares at the car as they pass by.
I thought the episode was kind of a dud except for the connection part between the boy and her.
It was Chloe, but I was still in FAST FORWARD MODE so I don’t listen to their green crap agenda.
This Tony good-bad stuff is violating some sacred tenet of storytelling. It is okay to have one peripheral character be found out to be bad, but not a central character and not back and forth. I really don’t want to watch anymore because it is too wrenching to identify with a character and then find out he is EVIL.
Okay, how about this: Tony had to convince the Starkwood stooge that he's legit so he can get inside and get the antidote for Jack.
BOOKMARKED !
I thought the black guy who held the gun on Tony and Larry was the son of Juma...who tony knew from before. maybe he thought Tony had come back to help them( Juma’s group)..after all, he wouldn’t know tony had blown everything up.
Theory: tony wants to follow this guy with the canister to the rats’ hole connection to the terrorists who starkwood was working with.
Yes, i was exhausted too!
Well, I guess C. Everett Koop would be better than Joycelyn Elders.
If 24 was truly bi-partisan, they would have thrown a bone to Ruth Bader ‘Buzzy’ Ginsberg for that spot.
(Ok, demon 34 of 50 has departed, i’m back now)
