Ok folks here's the new thread for the new season.
.................................................................................Set in Washington, DC, "Day 7" opens four years after Season Six with CTU dismantled and JACK BAUER on trial. Bauer's day takes an unexpected turn when former colleague TONY ALMEIDA returns. Meanwhile, newly elected President ALLISON TAYLOR leads the country alongside White House Chief of Staff ETHAN KANIN and First Gentleman HENRY TAYLOR.
A national security crisis prompts an investigation by a team of FBI agents including JANIS GOLD, RENEE WALKER, LARRY MOSS and SEAN HILLINGER. Although CTU is no longer, CHLOE O'BRIAN and BILL BUCHANAN are back for another momentous day of shocking events.

I'm gonna get sucked in, aren't I?
Yea......If you're still employed and still have a family, don't bother purchasing all the previous years because you'll likely lose both........

Since I'm a complete newbie, am I gonna be confused as heck, or is knowing that Jack's a good guy enough to keep me from being totally confused? :) Don't feel bad...I never watched along with a current "day" of 24 until Day 6...and that was after hearing mainly Rush (and also Laura Ingraham) rave about it...a lot of it didn't make sense to me, so I started watching in reverse order...Day 5, 4, 3, 2, and then 1 (which I had bought for $20 during day 5, but never could get into it...)
Obviously you won't be able to catch up with all six days (plus the movie) before Day 7 starts tonight, but if you want to just scan through the previous "days", wou can go to www.fox.com/24, and they have season recaps.

If the old keeper of the list does not step forward I’m gonna bus a cap in his kneecap and then I’ll start a new one, maybe, with some help!

I hope Silver Spoons makes an appearance this year.
Unfortunately we are sure not to see Rudy/Sam Wise.

Can't be soon enough for her to be gone.
I was hoping an opening scene with a bunch of PETA types with signs and Garafalo with her sign steps out into traffic and gets hit by a taxi driving muslim........

Rush Limbaugh also got a preview of the first 4 shows - and he was raving about it too.

Oooooooo....FINALLY—Jack’s back! It’s about time! LOL!
I will check in, but that show is so intense that if I look
down or break my concentration, I lose the thread of the plot! LOL!
I have watched from the very first, too. My son gave me the first season as a gift. :D

Good idea, but not quite trenchant enough.
Make it a restaurant supply truck packed with steaks on delivery to Morton's or Ruth's Chris instead. Have the doors burst open in the accident, and get a few good shots of assorted citizens trampling her body in the process of gathering up some spilt boxes of Porterhouses and T-bones.
After all, everyone loves irony, right?
