The other day the guys from BaconToday.com contacted me in search for some barbecue bacon recipes. Of course I have plenty of great uses for bacon in a barbecue pit, but the longer I thought about it, the more I wanted to step it up a notch and clog a few arteries for those guys. Behold, BACON EXPLOSION!!! Here’s what you’ll need…
2 pounds thick cut bacon
2 pounds Italian sausage
1 jar of your favorite barbeque sauce
1 jar of your favorite barbeque rub

Can I bring Buster and Annabelle? (you probably don't remember my goat babies from another thread, LOL!) On second thought, it probably isn't a good idea to bring pets that could, possibly, be mistaken for part of the BBQ!

We've got a big one in my favorite bass pond and he's starting to peeve me pretty good, this could definitely be done!

All folks are invited to our get togethers . . . we just tend to invite those that live in the Houston area. Although I have no doubt that so many would like to join us.
I am sorry that you have missed the TexasCowboy Memorial Shoots . . . we spent the morning shooting all kinds of guns, then retire to good eats & adult beverages.
It would not be a good idea to bring goats along . . . I do not have a good record of getting along with goats. Although, humblegunner loves goats!

It cant compete with what TheMom, Eaker,Eastforker, Humblegunner,Allegra and Pax have done in the past, but I sure am gonna give it a shot.
The shoot will be Oct 16~18 in Seagoville Tx.
We have a nice place lined up in Crandall Tx for dinner and there MAY be some kind of bacon explosion at the shooting site LoL.
I am working on nearby hotels and there is camping available at the shooting range (do it yourself)
More details as it becomes available.
