Details emerge on Jett Travolta's death

John Travolta, Kelly Preston and their children Jett and Ella Bleu, leave an airport in Rome.

John Travolta's lawyers -- who are close family friends -- reveal that Jett may have died in his father's arms Friday.

Us: How is John doing?

Ossi and McDermott: "Jett was not left alone. He had a nanny present at all times. The nanny was sleeping close to Jett's room. There was a baby monitor, a chime on the door so it was known when Jett was going in and out. He was completely supervised. The nanny found him.

Us: Is it true that Jett died in John's arms?

Ossi and McDermott: "Jett may have still been alive when John administered CPR, and then the EMT took over. Jett was pronounced dead at the hospital. I like to believe John had a chance to say goodbye. He may have died in his dad's arms. I am not certain."

Us: It's been said Jett had a history of seizures. How often did he have them?

Ossi and McDermott: "I am not confident to talk about that. I know he had a history, which of course warranted the extra attention."

Thanks for posting that Carolyn. Everyone has nice things to say about John Travolta. Even one of the entertainment shows said yesterday as they were showing some old clips that he always greets everyone, even the crew. He shakes hands with them all, he kisses people, he hugs people, he’s just that kind of guy.

Bad things happen to good people. I pray he can find the strength to get through this.

Scientology feels like they can operate with impunity. And apparently, they can. Why has NO ONE done anything about their blackmailing the IRS, getting away with it, and letting the IRS violate the Constitution on their behalf.

I thought a lot about this last night. There is a good chance that one or more of these posters are Scientologists or know one. their refusal to even acknowledge what this cult is about is telling.

But OOOPPPS..when I point out what it really is..and what the medical profession thinks of this group, and what people who have gone through it say about what it does to them...NO COMMENT.

There is a rumor going around started by someone that claims to be in the area that authorities are in the process of gathering information to see if a case against the Travoltas would be feasible.

I find it hard to believe given the tight hold that Scientology has on authorities in Florida...like in the terry Schiavo case. But Travolta is in a different city and county.

I think there should be an investigation to get at the facts..this will clear John and Kelly or it won't.

Jett deserves that much after being subjected to the beliefs of Scientology and made to go through the torture of things like their dangerous detox programs. And it might save some other children who don't have their own voice.

I really do believe they loved their child. I know that they are traumatized by the death.
