Details emerge on Jett Travolta's death

John Travolta, Kelly Preston and their children Jett and Ella Bleu, leave an airport in Rome.

John Travolta's lawyers -- who are close family friends -- reveal that Jett may have died in his father's arms Friday.

Us: How is John doing?

-snip- "John and Kelly are suffering total misery. They were so close to their son. This is hard to accept.

-snip-

Us: Have John and Kelly spent time with anyone since everyone arrived?

Ossi and McDermott: "John and Kelly have been pretty much locked away.

"We are staying here until John leaves. The autopsy should be on Monday.

-snip-

Us: It's been reported that Jett was left alone for several hours before being discovered. Can you clarify the timeline?

Ossi and McDermott: "Jett was not left alone. He had a nanny present at all times. The nanny was sleeping close to Jett's room. There was a baby monitor, a chime on the door so it was known when Jett was going in and out. He was completely supervised. The nanny found him.

Us: Is it true that Jett died in John's arms?

Ossi and McDermott: "Jett may have still been alive when John administered CPR, and then the EMT took over. Jett was pronounced dead at the hospital. I like to believe John had a chance to say goodbye. He may have died in his dad's arms. I am not certain."

Us: It's been said Jett had a history of seizures. How often did he have them?

Ossi and McDermott: "I am not confident to talk about that. I know he had a history, which of course warranted the extra attention."

-snip-

“...to have a child that suffers from multiple seizures on a regular basis, having a professional caregiver on the premises would not be out of the question.”

What you don’t think kids & adults die in the hands of professional caregivers, doctors, etc, even within hospitals everyday?

Can’t you find it in your heart to wait until the facts come out?

In other words, you were reaching to your normal extreme to make a disgusting comment. The mainstream medical community has no established treatment for autism; infact many deny that it is a medical condition.

If you mean an "established treatment" like penicillin for infection, then, no, there isn't one for autism.

If you mean the "mainstream medical community" doesn't treat autism, then you're mistaken.

Ummm, I sure can. I even said in one of my earlier posts that TIME WILL TELL.

Uh.. dude. Telling someone they’re unkempt and need to look in a mirror is, by definition, referring to a physical countenance and not an inner one. I’m not making anything about myself, other than defending myself from your attacks. Why are you so angry?

Messed up my html in the earlier post.

Yes, they do, but given a choice between a professional caregiver or a wedding photographer, I'll take the professional caregiver. jmo

The Travoltas claim that Jett needed 24/7 care because of Kawasaki Syndrome. He needed door chimes because of Kawasaki Syndrome. He couldn’t be left alone because of
Kawasaki Syndrome.

Please show me a reliable site that indicates Kawasaki Syndrome would lead to the need for these extraordinary measures.

By the way, if Jett did have autism, they wouldn’t admit it.

Surely you can understand that little point. Or perhaps not.

What I understand is this is not the time or place, you are determined to stir the pot.

Then where was the support system? Be it nanny, wedding photographer, licensed professional caregiver, ANYBODY?

“Why are you so angry?”

I’m not angry, I’m sitting here reading a thread with a lot kind, compassionate thoughtful remarks, some stupid opinions from idiots, and a few middle of the road comments from yet other members.

I’m responding to each accordingly.

They did have two nannys with them. I am waiting to see how this plays out with the timeline.

I thought that the post from the former Scientologist was interesting about how this would be handled.

They may get more grilling from the Scientologists than the police!

There was some information reported that they went to the Scientology place before the Bahamas..but just rumor right now.

Oh I think you’re rather angry, but in any case, I notice you’ve changed the tone of your replies.

Where is the time and the place to discuss details of a death with a disputed timeline and questionable medical care?

you can start a thread where all you do is gloss over his death and talk about no details if you want. I have no interest in that. This thread is entitled details.

What happens if the police are right in their claim that they are standing by their timeline?

I guess that is okay to have the boy unattended and dying on the floor for many many many hours, eh?..while the nanny is WHERE?

Hateful comments? Since when is it hateful to question why the police are saying something totally different than what the spokesperson is saying?

You have your views. Sharia law is okay as long as it is legal.
I have my views. Scientology is evil and what really happened here needs to be exposed.

I am not trying to convince you that Sharia law is evil. Don’t try to convince me that Scientology and their practices do not do tremendous harm to the innocent.
