"I can't get your whole post on my screen without scrolling." It's just the HTML version of the post. I wanted to show Amy where the size statement was.
It looks okay in preview, but it reads a little small on the thread.

I cook my lima beans with onion and a little garlic. I usually use granulated garlic.
Crumbled cornbread in soup or beans ..... YES!

Oh, I know what it was. :) But my screen resolution is 1024 x 768, and the text was too wide for my screen. I know a lot of people use the 1280 x 1024 or larger screen resolutions, though.
However, to be fair to Amy, I also looked at her source code, and she did change the font from the -3 font in the date. :)

The heart is the magician. Poet's words swirl in an endless void running to catch an eternal wind. Our human spirit magically emerges from the magician's hat.; the soul finding its equal in a sea of colour. Music, art, sound, life, paint, emerges from the void of the human heart. Time ceases to exist. Only the artist sees the heartbeat in footsteps that cross London streets. Only the musician hears the melody in the human voice. Laughter, conversation that ebbs and flows like music in morning rush-hour cafes echoes a note contributing to a grander symphony. Buildings conceived by artists are picasso's dream. In London, life has its own energy. The artist paints an abstraction of the Thames as it collides with the sun. Modernity of steel and glass plays hop-skotch with cobblestone streets. and Shakespeare's laughter echoes through time. In London, water learns how to breathe within a compostion of sound. And love rushes between windows trying to capture a whisper.

One of the best soups I ever ate, was avacado soup (made with chicken stock). My friend put a dollop of sour cream on the top, and served it with a big caeser’s salad and toasted garlic bread. I’ll try to find the recipe, if anybody is interested.

"But my screen resolution is 1024 x 768, and the text was too wide for my screen." I'm using the same screen resolution. The only time I had to scroll was when I changed the text size to larger. Incidentally, I put in a couple of breaks just so folks wouldn't have to scroll!

Magic
You have magic in your finger tips,
Magic in your eye.
Magic in the arms that hold
And tell me not to cry.
There is magic in your voice
When you talk to me each day.
There is magic in your smile
And in the things you say.
there is magic in the way
You let me be myself with you.
There is magic that you teach me
To be good and brave and true.
I am growing older
And soon I’ll go away,
But the magic that you taught me
Will go with me every day.

Sounds interesting! My Gma used to eat avocados and let me have the seed to start—glass jar/toothpicks. That’s about all I know about avocados! LOL

You find the neatest poems! Thanks!
And pics!

I felt the same way post-election. What a bleak, awful night that was, November 4th, I had to pray to get through it. I had also received my pink slip at work that day, what timing, huh?
Anyway, praise God, we do recover. We will persevere, there is no other choice. The heroes honored on your homepage compel us to “pay it forward.”
In other news, watched some of the new TV shows this past week, and “Homeland Security” on Tuesday nights is a good one. I took a peek at the Bachelor, haven’t watched for a few seasons and this doesn’t look like a good one.
