I’d like to have that hat, too! I have been a busy bee..I have discovered enough projects to keep me busy through the very dull month of February..some I don’t want to do..but need to(closets).
I need to get ready for Sunday’s posts..almost done ..
Hope your computer is working Sunday!

Thanks for your suggestions for soup.I love dried lima beans..I have been searching for recipes to juice it up (and instructions)
Thank you, LadyJ..Beautiful words.
You could use your hambone for limas, too. Just drop it in a pot of water, add the bone and a chopped onion, salt and pepper, maybe a teaspoon of baking soda to help cut down on the after-effects. Course, that’s a lot of beans for one person so you might want to consider inviting friends over. :) Have you tried the flash frozen beans? They taste awesome, and you can take out what you need and put the rest back in the freezer. Plus, they cook faster than dried. Pict-sweet is the variety we use.
My crowd likes to put crushed red pepper in their beans. Either that or they add hot pepper vinegar at the table. I just like to crumble my cornbread up in mine!
CHANGING GEARS ----------This is really neat......check it out................. Click on the link below and a playing card will appear on your screen...
wait a few moments for it to load,
then scroll down below the card and you will see a line that has a little red slider bar in it. Move the slider gradually to the right and stop and watch the show take place, then move it a little more to the right and stop and another show will take place and keep doing this 'til you are to the end.
The marvels of computer graphics.
Wow, Dolly! How cool is that? Loved it.
LOL~~~
Typical resolutions in January are to lose weight, exercise more, spend less time at work and more time with familymaybe even stop chatting on the cell phone while driving.
Its not surprising that we want to change the things in our lives that were unhappy abouteven though most New Years resolutions are kept for no more than 3 weeks.
What if you were to ask God what He wants you to change, improve, or begin this year? He might tell you to:
Demonstrate more of the fruit of the Spirit in your life, which is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control (Gal. 5:22-23).
Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who . . . persecute you (Matt. 5:44).
Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15).
Be content with such things as you have (Heb. 13:5).
Walk according to His commandments (2 John 1:6).
As believers and new creations, we can be free from old patterns and failures. We must ask God to help us live each day in the power of the Holy Spirit. Then we can shed the old and embrace the new (2 Cor. 5:17).
Me too, except add chopped sweet onions in or on the side!
Mornin’ Dolly!
Your New Year’s pics were fab!
Check out SWAMPSNIPER’s posts for some beautiful weather and gorgeous birds!
Wish I could post pics. The camellias are in full bloom here.
Pics of snow are all I want to see! LOL One of my earliest memories—I was about 3—we lived south of Dayton, around Seaman/Peebles—is my Dad pulling me around on a sled. I have no idea how many miles he and my Mom walked that day on our farm. Grin
I like them cooked in the beans. Daddy likes green onions—takes a bite of beans and a bite of onions. :)
I sure can tell you’re a hard-working little gal, GG. Gardening is wonderful...planting and watching it grow, very refreshing and rewarding!
It’s the coolest thing in the world! You can go out in the greenhouse in the morning and there’s nothing but a green curl. By afternoon, it’s a seedling half an inch tall with two leaves.
Sweet angel dust, yorkie.
Yes, L.J....
Lovely words!
That picture always touched my heart so much.
Dolly, I love your dogs. That second picture is so adorable. I believe she was getting tired! Those dogs have a great Mama!
Cool! My dogs won’t even go outside if it’s raining! LOL
