Our first baby was 9 mos old then.. My husband was on a 6 mos cruise when this was taken..We “found” each other in college. We were lucky indeed. I had two Navy babies by the time we left the service.
What'd I tol' ya?! Yeah? Yeah! :)
Oh Meg, how special is that!!?:)
Thank you for showing us a treasured pic.
I love looking through old family photos, over and over and....:)
Nice looking doggies, Amy.
We finally got a warm-up here today, Yay!!!!
It is VERY welcome:)
Hi, Mama Bear, you got the #400, Woo Hoo!!:)
Well darn that Firefox thingy. The youtube is just a few-minute clip. Otherwise, the full program may re-air at any time on PBS. It is entitled, “The Wolf That Changed America.”
Here is Abiquiu, which I have yet to see with my own eyes:
Oh, that's very colorful and beautiful! Hi, Dita. There is so much beauty in every state we've cyber 'visited' these last few years. :)
I am very leery of posting personal photos for some reason..but this I could not resist..
When I did the major reorganizing of old files..editing, editing... I then took on boxes and boxes of family photos..some of my mother and dad’s old pictures..It took forever because I lingered...and lingered.
That’s the kind of NM picture I was looking for..beautiful, Dita!
Once we had a thread on twins and I showed a vintage photo of my mother and aunt.
It’s nice to be able to do this.
Abiquiu was where Georgia O-Keefe lived. Each time I’ve been to Santa Fe, my trip to Abiquiu gets thwarted somehow. I probably would not want to leave once I arrived:)
Mmmmmm, MMMMM! I used to watch him on the Guardian. He’s a cutie, alright! I will watch tonight for sure. And, thank you for the reminder!
LOL. He is an illusive one. ;-)
Oh......strawberries and angel food cake sound SO good! Unfortunately, I have neither. :-(
Did I see where you were having 70 degree temperatures??? How I wish you could send some of that my way! I am freezing.
Yes. I do like it better than IE, especially since IE has taken to freezing up on me several times a day, still, I also have issues with Firefox. My son would tell me that it is probably time to do a wipe and reload, but I'd rather walk on hot coals. It NEVER goes well. I'll just put up with it as long as I can.
I will set my TIVO to record that PBS show, if it comes on again. I'd like to see it.
Oh, how handsome!
I do too. I think that is why I enjoyed so much presenting the western states, especially New Mexico, Arizona and Nevada. I must get it from my grandfather who loved to camp in Death Valley and Bryce Canyon and Zion. He loved the stark beauty of the desert. He was born and raised and lived most of his life in Massachusetts, but he loved Zane Grey and Louis Louis L'Amour novels. The call of the west drew him out here and he never went back. I understood his love of the desert and red rock country. I can't explain it, but I understand it. :-)
I like it! I am not quite as crazy about him as you are, my tastes go more towards latin and smooth jazz, but I like that little snippet. Sounds promising.
Perfect music, Billie, for your perfect graphic, and fish hawk’s perfect poem completes it! Thank you both.
I didn’t like his character in the Guardian - he was too serious and he didn’t treat his girlfriend (fiancee?) very well either. I never saw that mischief in his eye in the Guardian. :)
