They do..a nice effect!
The brown ferns I need to cut back are glittering with diamonds as the sun hits them...and as the sun moves to the youpon..diamonds there, too..You can tell how rarely I see “winter” sights. I’d like one snowfall that lasts 2 days ...I have seen one only once in 15 years here.
I am sending you love and hugs. I have been where you are and I know how it hurts. I will say a prayer for you and and your precious little dog that God will lead you gently through this difficult time.
I sure won’t complain after reading your snow fall totals this year. You must be very tired of removing snow out the driveway etc. Looking forward to spring. We just had 4 inches this morning and now it’s drizzling out. It’s going to be an icy mess.
Going tp plow now and will have to do it again later, maybe 2 more times.
Awwww......such a pretty, warm fuzzy opening today!
Good morning, MamaBear. Thank you.
Isn’t that graphic precious? When I received it, I listened to the music while I read and replied to posts. :)
I was going to ask how you liked our cold weather .... that was before I read GeeBee’s and The Mayors posts.
Almost time to take Marissa to school ... I will be back.
Oh Meg, it's good to see you first thing this morning. Your red rose on the piano is so pretty, and thank you for the sweetest words, too.
So happy to hear you are finally beginning to feel much better. I loved the picture of the deer you posted a little earlier to GeeBee.
Speaking of music, several years ago when Sally Jesse Raphael had a daily show, she had one I taped (on VHS because I didn't have DVD then!) with young children who had amazing talent. I thought I'd thrown away all the old 'used' VHS tapes I had, but yesterday in the top of a closet I found 3 or 4 that I'd saved because of the content. That was one of them. I finally figured out how to "dub" with the DVD/VHS recorder we have now, and I GOT IT ON A DVD! Now, just to edit it and see how I can upload it. The little girl I want to show here is unbelievable! Absolutely unbelievable!
“Murphy’s Laws” - how often that comes to mind as a result of something we have done or said - or seen.
Are you and your daughter having your “snow day”?!
I loved that quote, too, Polly!
Thanks, Lori. I fell in love with that beautiful dog and the kitten sleeping so peacefully on him/her. The connection between the two was pure love. Renee Olstead’s version of the song is so unique and sweet.
Now that's funny. :)
Thank you all for your caring thoughts and prayers. After a good night’s sleep, I got to thinking - my little Lindy has taught me a lot in 12 years. I must think positive thoughts, and put to use, all that I have learned from her.
So, this morning, I came accross this YouTube clip - about what we can learn from our canine friends. (Warning - you might need a kleenex - or two.)

Again, thank you all - and big hugs to each one of you.

Depending on the full diagnosis there might be things you can do. The cart like you mentioned, supplements may help. Another vet if you have that option.
Plus remember our pets are mighty adaptable. My mom had a cat hit by a car that lost the use of its legs, completely in the rear legs, partially in the front, and that cat "swam" happily around the house for years when one day it started walking again.
Prayers for you, Sweetheart, and your best bud.
God Bless.
Oh, thank you LJ! What a sweet story about that cat your mom had. The vet really moved her little legs and joints - and she never whimpered. He told me he is sure she isn’t in pain. Today, she seems a little better - and hopefully, she will regain some use of those little legs. (And I will try the little splints. If they don’t work, a cart may be the route to take.) As long as she isn’t in pain, I will do what ever it takes. She is taking a canine ‘Aleve’ which may relax her a little, and she is resting well.
Again, thank you for the sweet post and picture, LJ!
