Oh my goodness! I didn't know it was your birthday today, GeeBee! We have something else to celebrate today then! :)
To: yorkie
Good morning, yorkie, and thank you for such great compliments on today's opening. I LOVE doing stuff like this. LOL! (do we live in a make-believe world or what?) :)
As Simon Cowell would say (on American Idol lol), "If I'm being honest... your dress is one of my favorites of all. Of course, yours is one of the newer ones, but there are a few others I would love to have, too! (like I need them - we go to so many formal occasions) LOL
To: Billie
Bille! I was wondering what to wear tonight and this is fabulous! You're brilliant!

Awww, thank you, beautiful lady! Thank you for doing the holidays for today, too, and most of all, we wouldn’t be here if not for you! ‘Da Hostess with th’ Mostess!

What a lot of people don't know is that is Dolly dancing in a wig.

Thank you again, Jaycee, am glad you could see the difference in the size of the hand. I look back at some and realize they need to tweaked a bit more, and am not satisfied until it's done. :)
Sometimes, when they're reduced , things are even more glaring (I reduced all on the opening to 75% of original size. Yorkie's and ConstitutionGirl's were others that I redid, not once, but several times after seeing them smaller!)
To: Lady Jag
Thank you. :) And may I say, you look fabulous in black, LadyJ! Black is always a favorite for New Year’s Eve parties!

Aha! I *thought* she looked familiar! :)

Love the holidays, Amy! Thank you! The last two cartoons are hilarious!
To: MEG33
Well, I have no doubt your ‘back to regular programming’ posts will be just as pretty as the Christmas season ones. Besides, we still have lots and lots of snow left before spring kicks in!
To: Lady Jag
LOL Lady Jag!
This couple was last years specials guest. They performed several numbers during the concert. For two hours prior t o concert they gave group lessons - Salsa, foxtrot, chacha to those who were there early. There were maybe 40 of us. After the concert they traveled around the two music/dance areas and danced with many people. I am sure part of their motivation was for new students for their studio
This year’s special entertainment is THE REDNECK TENORS

When Earth's Last Picture Is Painted |

When Earth's last picture is painted And the tubes are twisted and dried When the oldest colors have faded And the youngest critic has died We shall rest, and faith, we shall need it Lie down for an aeon or two 'Till the Master of all good workmen Shall put us to work anew And those that were good shall be happy They'll sit in a golden chair They'll splash at a ten league canvas With brushes of comet's hair They'll find real saints to draw from Magdalene, Peter, and Paul They'll work for an age at a sitting And never be tired at all. And only the Master shall praise us. And only the Master shall blame. And no one will work for the money. No one will work for the fame. But each for the joy of the working, And each, in his separate star, Will draw the thing as he sees it. For the God of things as they are!

Good Morning!
Lets have a ‘infamous’ Quote Day, and to start it off, I’ll start with one of my own.

I really, really like this one, LadyJ - both the poem and the wonderful illustration! It’s very uplifting - some of those posted yesterday were depressing. :(

Hey, Dave! Will you sign my dance card? :) I think I'm gonna get writer's cramp signing dance cards for all these beautiful women.
It's gonna be a long, enjoyable process, but someone has to do it. :)

Billie, I hope none of mine were depressing. I always intend to be upbeat and positive.
