Just taking a few moments to browse through Sunday's posts and wanted to echo Amy's sentiments
HERE! (post #3041) Beautiful opening cardinals, Meg (in snow, of course!), and all the pretty snow graphics posted throughout.
To: jaycee
Billie, I had to go back and look for this! I had seen it one day when I was looking through and couldnt find time to post! Your white cabinet kitchen is so sweet...You have it decorated just perfect. I love it. I like to have a few decorations in my kitchen too as I spend so much time there. (its not as pretty as yours), but it cheers me. Thank you, jaycee. I put lighted swags and/or garlands in almost every room of the house at Christmas time, and especially the kitchen, since it's the room I seem to spend so much time in. :)

Now this baby donkey is the sweetest thing! We have a donkey (not a baby, but he’s only about 6 years old), and they are so much fun to watch. :)

I am so sorry that all the graphics in my “Texas, My Texas” thread are gone. I hate that I had them uploaded to aol instead of domania, and I don’t think I even have the individual graphics saved on my hard drive. :(

Many, many years ago, my mom and dad bought a small ranch and bought 5 pregnant cows. I was about 8 years old.
We waited anxiously as each cow had her calf. When we were down to 1 cow, my younger brother (about 5 or 6) sighed, Well, maybe Bessy will have a baby horse. That is too cute! I agree, the stories and memories we share at family gatherings through the years are priceless.

Me too. Ive just toned it down a bit! Still absolutely love horses and nothing smells better than a warm horse or a barn full of horses. I have such a rapport with horses and dogs, its probably a good thing I dont have moneyId have my own personal equine/canine zoo! LOL I'm not sure it's something one can outgrow. :) My husband grew up on horses, and I always wanted one from the time I was a little girl. Finally got one after we married. :)

Finally getting around to thanking you for today's Beautiful Opening Graphic and MP3 link. Thank you for all the beautiful work that you are contributing to Amy's. We all appreciate you. Have a great week. And what a beautiful thank you graphic that is! I appreciate you letting me know you appreciate me. LOL! ('cause you do it so well!)
To: jaycee
I've posted this horse against the blue flowers before! Is this blue heather maybe mixed with bluebonnets? What so you all think? I'm not sure about the heather, but whatever the flower mixed with the bluebonnets makes a beautiful background cover for that beautiful pony!

Amy and Billie, your #3059 is just Excellent; Billie, your Graphic is Perfect for the 'Wildfire' Song, and the Lovely Face of the Girl in the Pic Looks just Like I would Imagine Wildfire's Owner to Look; so Beautiful and Elegant. (I Remember the Wildfire Song from Years Ago, and it's Good to Hear it Again. Thank you!) Thank you for your sweet comments, Kitty - I'm glad you enjoyed hearing Wildfire again, and that you thought the graphic was perfect for the song. It's always nice to hear. :)

How will you fare in the storms of the new year? If youre anchored in Jesus, you have nothing to fear. Love this!

" Good Morning Everyone Thank You Billie and Amy ...This is so sweet! I have made a small beginning on Christmas cleanup. Wishing you all a beautiful day. I finished yesterday! YAY! Except I looked out the window on the courtyard this morning, and there was a Christmas Wreath I forgot to take down. I always forget at least one thing when I think everything is put away!
Thanks, Meg, for the nice comment and for the cute seniors you posted on the sled. :)
To: gardengirl
That pretty much says it all! :)Yep, pretty much. :)
To: Billie
I wouldn’t say I’ve outgrown it, exactly.
Learned how to tone it down a bit, maybe.
LOL
Glad you finally got yours! Horses are a lot like kids—a whole lot of work, but the rewards are worth it!

Boots
(Infantry Columns)
We're foot--slog--slog--slog--sloggin' over Africa --
Foot--foot--foot--foot--sloggin' over Africa --
(Boots--boots--boots--boots--movin' up and down again!)
There's no discharge in the war!
Seven--six--eleven--five--nine-an'-twenty mile to-day --
Four--eleven--seventeen--thirty-two the day before --
(Boots--boots--boots--boots--movin' up and down again!)
There's no discharge in the war!
Don't--don't--don't--don't--look at what's in front of you.
(Boots--boots--boots--boots--movin' up an' down again);
Men--men--men--men--men go mad with watchin' em,
An' there's no discharge in the war!
Try--try--try--try--to think o' something different --
Oh--my--God--keep--me from goin' lunatic!
(Boots--boots--boots--boots--movin' up an' down again!)
There's no discharge in the war!
Count--count--count--count--the bullets in the bandoliers.
If--your--eyes--drop--they will get atop o' you!
(Boots--boots--boots--boots--movin' up and down again) --
There's no discharge in the war!
We--can--stick--out--'unger, thirst, an' weariness,
But--not--not--not--not the chronic sight of 'em --
Boot--boots--boots--boots--movin' up an' down again,
An' there's no discharge in the war!
'Taint--so--bad--by--day because o' company,
But night--brings--long--strings--o' forty thousand million
Boots--boots--boots--boots--movin' up an' down again.
There's no discharge in the war!
I--'ave--marched--six--weeks in 'Ell an' certify
It--is--not--fire--devils, dark, or anything,
But boots--boots--boots--boots--movin' up an' down again,
An' there's no discharge in the war!
