Amy, I wonder how you do it all....I think you are tougher than I am. You do a grand job though, dear. Of course, all of us would step in to do the best for someone we love. Love has no boundaries, does it?

I tried to find some flake stuff, but didn’t find anything I liked. I have to go out again. I had lunch and was just resting my back a little bit.

I love Christmas, too, Meg! People are happier at Christmas (sometimes you will meet a grinch or two) but the little one below isn't a grinch! He just think he's cute! He/she, who knows? LOL~~

Awww..I have done that with a Sunday holiday post.
I just had a Bluejay come to the feeder while the Cardinals were
around..Beautiful sight..I am bird watching..and that is not getting
my cake made!

Just got back from Boston and as soon at the TV came on, heard we're in for another snowfall of an estimated 12"!

There are still a lot of people still without power after a whole week and a lot more snow is coming!

The word is a lamp unto my feet

OMG ... how horrible. Looks like an Ice Age is on its way.

We will continue praying for all affected.

Now is the time for those people who have gone without electricity for a whole week to take a drive in their warm car and shop for used RVs. They're a nickel a pound and are a complete home plus a generator. It can work on propane or electricity so they can stay home or take a vacation.

I bought a Mobile home several years ago and have used it as much for power outages as for trips.

Today is Wear a Plunger on Your Head Day.

That may sound silly to you but the Japanese have invented a clever use for a plunger on your head.

Attach the plunger to the back of your hard hat, stand or sit against a smooth surface and stick the plunger to the wall

Some users also paint eyeballs on their eyelids.

They are! I finally have the cake in the oven..Now there’s a big mess..I wish I had something else to make while there is a mess..but it is too soon.

Is this the apple cake? I’ve written my list down to make 2 kinds of candy. After I was at Walmart, I wanted to stop to get the ingredients, but it was raining the mistiest stuff and I have never seen so much traffic....so after all that time in the Walmart, I chose to come home and was very thankful to be here. I’ve made two trips out today and thats almost too much.

Bet that cake smell is all through the house...mmmmm!
