Yepper, I concur, lots of people sing CHRISTmas carols well...Mostly just chit chating about a few faves when the op come up.

Yes, I was there and it was a very nice evening with some very fine people. Good friends and good fellowship. Jim seems to be doing amazingly well after his hospitalizations earlier this year. My husband has photos of the event on his camera, otherwise I would share some of them. Maybe I will be able to post a few of them this weekend. If I do I will ping you. :-)

It is a special time, hearing from old friends. I had a card from one I hadn’t heard from in 2-3 years, an Army wife. I’m going to e-mail her now.

Scoots was spayed early on..The kittens who come to my daughter are abandoned by a mom..or like Purty..have them in the attic.
Purty, Scoots mom, got out once after she had kittens in the attic before she was spayed and had another litter..My daughter kept two..They disappeared when adults..She suspects a neighbor took them off and we have both decided that house kitties are the safest way to go.
I was living there when a feral mom abandoned 5 week old kittens and I helped them survive..Harder than a newborn baby..My daughter did most but we all helped with bathing and frequent bottle feeding..We were all sleep deprived.
She kept all 5 kittens. She has another older cat she rescued in a parking lot..Someone had slashed the kitten with a knife it looked like.

I'm working on some PTA stuff today ..... Apples for Students receipts.
I plan to take them to school about 1:00.
Then, the school Christmas Program is at 6:00 tonight.

I'm ready for a 3 week vacation. LOL
