“However with the Mumbai tragedy, it looks too close to an Islamic flag to be enjoyed thoroughly. “
Don’t let thoughts of islam defile something so beautiful. The moon and planets were here long before that cult of hate came to be, and they will still be there when muslims have turned to dust.

The heavens existed a very long time before these folks.
Jupiter just appeared. Above and to the right of Venus.
How fitting that the powerful one would let the others shine first.
It appears that Venus is falling into the exact center of the Crescent Moon and Jupiter is watching.

I just took this one with a digital camera. It can give the people who are clouded over an idea of what we are seeing.

Thank you. I needed that ‘feeling small beside the ocean’ wake up.

I just went outside hoping to see something interesting. Nothing but some stars in the sky. This is the Fla. Panhandle. Has the moon already gone down in this area?

We are under a foot of snow...and it is still falling. Saw them in California two nights ago and they were AWESOME! Different story here in Colorado.

Can't see them tonight because it's raining here but looking forward to the show tomorrow night when it should be clear. I saw Jupiter and Venus lined up last night taking the dog for a walk in a quiet neighborhood at sunset. In my headphones was playing "A Spaceman Came Traveling" by Chris Deburgh and it was a very apt song to be playing at that time.
It sometimes makes me angry when the planets line up like this. I wish they would just stick to their own portion of the sky. Now the moon wants to get in on the act as well and I am thinking that enough is enough already.

My Husband and I were looking for this wonderment, but it was a bit overcast. We were looking south when we saw the most impressive meterite/fire ball/space junk that we have ever seen in our respective 61 and 76 years. It was very clear, big, had a tail, had burning stuff falling off of it and the fire was greenish. It burned out in the sky.

I cant help but look on this trine as a good omen. Hmmm...I had just the opposite feeling. It reminded me of the Islamofascist symbol and therefore an evil omen.
