Bending Time with 'Fringe' Scientist John Noble

The Deadbolt: What are your personal views on fringe science? Are you into UFOs, Bigfoot, and things like that?
John Noble: Not UFOs, not that. I don't have anything against it, it's just not something that tantalizes my imagination. I think I'm much more fascinated by what we've discovered through quantum mechanics and so forth. What was started off by Albert Einstein, essentially, has just opened the floodgates into a new world and we suddenly find out that we can bend time. And string theory, it just means that anything is conceivable and I find that fascinating. We don't even know what black holes are, you know what I mean? To me, I get excited by it.

UFO’s tantalize the imagination but when you come down to it what is there to talk about? Some grainy pictures and tons and tons of B.S.

Bending time is easy. I do it all the time with a special machine I have in my basement.
It is called a DVR...

My ability to discuss string theory ends with me saying “Ok, if you say so.”

Is that pesky creature back again? Thought string theory fell out of favor pretty much about a year or so ago...not long after it was presented on NOVA as “The Theory of Everything.”

Uh-oh. I wish I could bend time and reset the expiration date on the rest of that gallon of milk in the fridge. I really wanted a bowl of cereal.
