Hmmm gold and silver coins, and over 2000 years later they still have significant value ... maybe we should try it with our currency?

Looking at the gold coins, do I see images of a horse? If so, this might be a reference to the horse goddess Epona. She was a Gaulish goddess who became a favorite of the Roman Cavalry and was perhaps transported to Britain by them. The giant chalk horse in England is thought to have been designed about the same time. One hundred to two hundred BC.
