What happened yesterday - 11/08/2008? [Update at post number 207]

Posted on 11/09/2008 5:46:59 AM PST by reg45

Question: What happened to FreeRepublic yesterday? It was unavailable? I was beginning to suffer from truth withdrawal syndrome.

“You ignore one important point. This thread still hasn’t received an answer to the question could have been easily been asked an an email. The College Football thread isn’t a question. It is information provided by those interested in the subject.”

You have now officially jumped the shark.

I had withdrawal pains all day yesterday. I was beginning to think that I was being punished for a post I may have made that upset FR administrator. Then I wondered how technically they could ban me like that. I drank a whole pot of coffee and couldn’t sleep.

Didn’t we get the answer in Post 2 of this thread?

Nope. Post #2 isn't an answer to the question posed in the title of the thread. It is merely a statement.

Explain why this dead horse needs more of your serious thumpin’.

Explain to me why it is so hard to honor the request posted in replies 18 and 133 and instead resort to trying to kill the messenger?

Ah yes, when all else fails and lacking any pertinent information to the purpose of the thread

You mean like your sitting at your computer in the basement of your parent's house and posting over and over ..

"the rules, the rules, reg45 broke the rules"

Sounds a bit like Pee Wee Herman whining "I know you are, but what am I"

You have got to be the kid everybody hated in school. “But the teacher says......”.

Yes I'm the trouble maker for merely pointing out what was requested by the FR powers to be per the links in #18 and #133 posted several days ago.

I took the time to do a little research into what else is available out there as Conservative gathering places. This break down did emphasize the fact that we may need to diversify our ability to gather someplace to organize in a future governed by socialist rats.

Someone mentioned in a post election thread that we need a true grassroots effort to reproduce our own kind of conservative “moveon.org” these people are still in the organizational phase but its a start http://modernconservative.com/metablog_single.php?p=2206 also a few more herehttp://rightnation.us/index.php/ http://urbanconservative.com http://conservativesforum.com I also used http://dogpile.com and entered the keywords “conservative blogs” to get a fantastic listing of places.

I think its time Mr.Robinson begins thinking about forming alliances for the upcoming socialist storm our beloved nation and it`s precious Constitution will have to weather.

BTW www.urbanconservative.com/2007/02/13best_conservative_blogs_on_the_internet/ had a long alphabetized listing of sites that I found thru dogpile, you may be pleasantly surprised at whats out there,I have renewed hope we can do this.

Thanks for the information. Conservatives definitely need to be more aggressive instead of employ this reach out across the aisle in the name of bipartisanship baloney used by the GOP for many years.

Easy.

kristinn's observation and plea was not a proscription (and I reject the assertion that I'm trying to kill anyone).

It's a reference to the episode of the show Happy Days where Fonzie, on water skis, jumped over a shark.

It signifies officially going too far or being idiotically over the top.

Here's a bit of advice:

Photobucket

1. Cut your losses .. quit this thread.
2. Get your own place
3. Get outdoors at least twice a week.
4. ..

My next b’day in Feb I will be 54.

You are a spring chicken in comparison. Revel in your youthful vigor!

No problem bud,we need to stick together instead of coming apart. We`ve tried the Neocon way and look what its gotten us!Now they need to give use a chance,we can`t do worse then they`ve done, thats for sure!

I`ve spoken with Mr. Robinson in the past and he`s told me of plans he has to expand Freerepublic for us freepers, but thats no longer enough. We need alliances,we can`t do it alone.

Theres no shame in asking for a Conservative Alliance Against Socialism,on the contrary,it shows our love of country and fellowship as believers in the individualistic capitalist founding of our great nation.
