Every time FR is down and I later get back on, I wonder what happened. I keep thinking that management will post an explanation and then ping every registered poster. Under the circumstances of this election, it is natural that many of us wondered if this was the first shot at freedom of speech. It would also be helpful for all similar sites and bloggers to have a designated place to go for bulletins about shutdowns for any of them.

None of the replies answer the question in the title that states the server went down.

What have you learned as to why the site went down yesterday in regards to the title of the thread? The only post with the answer was one in which the answer was provided by the AM via an email as I suggested long ago in this thread.
