Every time FR is down and I later get back on, I wonder what happened. I keep thinking that management will post an explanation and then ping every registered poster. Under the circumstances of this election, it is natural that many of us wondered if this was the first shot at freedom of speech. It would also be helpful for all similar sites and bloggers to have a designated place to go for bulletins about shutdowns for any of them.

Clarification. A central, designated place to go for info on shutdowns for any or all of them. In addition to any other arrangement an individual site might have in place.
