I don't post vanities, but I'll make an exception today. It is simply amazing and disheartening that we have elected a socialistic, unaccomplished, inexperienced and unethical person as our next president. Our nation has survived many challenges over the years, but I have to wonder if this country will even be recognizable after 4 years of Obama, Pelosi and Reid.
In 4 years we will have:
one of the mot heavily taxed nations in the world;
an economy crippled by new environmental regulations;
skyrocketing energy costs;
greater dependence on foreign energy;
major portions of our economy nationalized;
free speech curtailed under the "Fairness Doctrine";
unions controlling our workplace through the "Employee Free Choice Act";
abortions skyrocketing under the "Freedom of Choice Act";
gay marriage legal across the country after repeal of the Defense of Marriage Act;
a downsized and demoralized military ala the Carter era;
chaos and instability in the Middle East;
increased terrorism around the world and here at home;
amnesty for illegals and reparations for blacks;
provisions written into law legalizing the kind of voter fraud perpetrated by Acorn and associated groups in this election;
and other changes made to insure a permanent Democrat majority in Congress and control of the Judiciary.
Can anyone argue with my vision?

Our Founding Fathers were a minority in their time. We cannot hope to convince the ‘True Believers’ only convert them.

We only lost a battle, don’t stop the fight. We can stop a lot in the Senate, then gain more control in congress. Then we have a lame duck president with the economy in the toilet.

Total gun control and confiscation.

we need an adjustment back toward common sense.
If parsy thinks Obama will move us back toward common sense, maybe it's too late for parsy to put down the doob.
My biggest fear is that O will be so deadlocked up he can’t do anything like raise the minimum wage or get us on nat’l health care.

Yes I can argue it.
First, while I believe that most of what you have written will be tried, and some things might be passed. However, you are forgetting there is no democratic supermajority, and in 2010, republicans will gain seats in the house and senate because there are more dem seats up for grabs.
Also, the supreme court will not be liberalized within the first 4 years.
You just blew it now. You call yourself a conservative?
National Healthcare and increasing the mimimum wage is not conservative.
I let go two employees the last time minimum wage was raised. Sad thing is, those employees were very happy at the pay graded they were at since they were only part time.
2 employees at about $6 per hour times about 25 hours equals about $300 per week savings. How many employees did you start with.

This election will create the worst racial devide in our nations history. People who are having their wealth stolen to be redistributed to inner city poor will come to resent them.
