Happy Lords Day.
I had to post both Daily Breads mainly because I wasn’t able to read them until I posted them and with FR down all day I missed Saturday.
I am off to Church, there are many, many things to Pray for especially this country and the events that are to unfold over the upcoming presidency. I fear for this country and hope we can avoid another civil war.

Prayers for our nation, Mayor..Two in a row is a blessing even though the FR shutdown was frustrating yesterday.

There's a church in the valley by the wildwood
No lovelier spot in the dale
No place is so dear to my childhood
As the little brown church in the vale
(Oh, come, come, come, come)
Come to the church by the wildwood
Oh, come to the church in the vale
No spot is so dear to my childhood
As the little brown church in the vale
How sweet on a clear Sabbath morning
To listen to the clear ringing bells
Its tones so sweetly are calling
Oh come to the church in the vale
(Oh, come, come, come, come)
Come to the church by the wildwood
Oh, come to the church in the vale
No spot is so dear to my childhood
As the little brown church in the vale
There, close by the church in the valley
Lies one that I loved so well
She sleeps, sweetly sleeps, ‘neath the willow
Disturb not her rest in the vale
(Oh, come, come, come, come)
Come to the church by the wildwood
Oh, come to the church in the vale
No spot is so dear to my childhood
As the little brown church in the vale
There, close by the side of that loved one
‘Neath the tree where the wild flowers bloom
When farewell hymns shall be chanted
I shall rest by her side in the tomb
(Oh, come, come, come, come)
Come to the church by the wildwood
Oh, come to the church in the vale
No spot is so dear to my childhood
As the little brown church in the vale

Beautiful sunflowers! Trivia for the day—did you know that sunflowers are indigenous to the US, prob the Americas? How cool is that?! We have a wild one here that gets about 8-10 feet tall, has many many 3-4 “ blooms all over it. Doesn’t bloom til about the end of Aug, sometime in Sept.
Hear, hear! Bear hugs all around! LOL
To: gardengirl
Its cool, thats what!
I love sunflowers....they seem happy to me and I love happy!
(((Hugs))))

I know the song and love the song. Guess I learned it when I was a very little child as best as I can remember!
My son called and we talked a long time and now I am truly leaving a while for breakfast! See everyone later!
