I was disappointed to see that Meg didnt have one yesterday for North Dakota. I think we should all get together and finish the states; even if they are not as extravagant as the others. :(
Many, many moons ago, before we 'closed' the Finest, we discussed the few states remaining to be profiled, and some of them were spoken for and some were posted - the others have sort of been put on the back burner.

LOL! He is a pretty cute 'dust bunny' isn't he? :)
I've GOT to go now that I've reached the 'end' of this thread! (though I know we never really reach the 'end' of one - which is good, of course!) I'll be back in the morning! :)

Well, I am kinda, sorta
still working on Illinois but haven't made a lot of progress on it. Have been distracted with many other things going on, not the least of which is the election tomorrow and the contentious political “stuff” going on. I am hoping for the best, but fearing the worst. :-(
Thanks, to both of you for your compliments on my graphic today. Now I need to get a chicken casserole ready to go in the oven. I will add Illinois to my “to-do” list and see if I can get it wrapped up in the next week or so.
Hugs all around!

Dustbunnies
The sound that all dustbunnies make,
Depends on the form the bunnies take.
Sawdust bunnies grind and scrape,
While cottons make a quiet escape.
Woolens have a sheepish stare,
And murmurs that disturb the air.
Dustbunnies to evoke your dread,
Are those that lurk beneath your bed.
Insurgent bunnies, trained just so,
On tiptoe and in silence go,
But growing in such numbers that,
A stealth attack could kill a cat!
Poor Kitty! In her masters room,
Hairballed down to dusty doom.
If you want to survive, then ya gotta get mean!
Bring yer vacuum out! Keep yer filters clean!

sure love that Welcome graphic this morning. Thank you, jaycee, and thanks for all the pings over the past few weeks that have gone unanswered. I've been AWOL - but I do see all my pings and I appreciate each and every one. :-)
To: yorkie
No matter the outcome - we are grounded in something much more powerful; the knowledge that He is watching over us, in all things. This is so true, yorkie, and it is this that I fall back on when I start to stress and despair over this election. I remind myself that everything happens for a reason and that God is in His heaven and all is well. :-)
To: Mama_Bear
I understand, Lori, we all have to take time-outs occasionally! That doesn’t mean I don’t miss you but I know you’ll be back when you can. Hope you are having sun-shiney
days!

Just a quick drive-by "thank you" to everyone who has kept me on their ping list even though I've been scarce around here recently. I do check my pings even when I am unable to respond and I appreciate each one. :-)

How many forum members does it take to change a light bulb?
1 to change the light bulb.
1 to post that the light bulb has been changed.
14 to share similar experiences of changing light bulbs and how the
light bulb could have been changed differently.
7 to caution about the dangers of changing light bulbs.
27 to point out spelling/grammar errors in posts about changing light
bulbs
..
53 to flame the spell checkers.
6 to argue over whether it’s “lightbulb” or “light bulb” ... another
6 to condemn those 6 as anal-retentive.
2 industry professionals to inform the group that the proper term
is “lamp”
..
15 know-it-alls who claim they were in the industry, and that “light
bulb” is perfectly correct.
156 to email the participant’s ISPs complaining that they are in
violation of their “acceptable use policy”.
109 to post that this forum is not about light bulbs and to please
take this discussion to a lightbulb forum.
203 to demand that cross posting to hardware forum, off-topic forum,
and lightbulb forum about changing light bulbs be stopped.
111 to defend the posting to this forum saying that we all use light
bulbs and therefore the posts are relevant to this forum.
306 to debate which method of changing light bulbs is superior, where
to buy the best light bulbs, what brand of light bulbs work best for
this technique and what brands are faulty.
27 to post URLs where one can see examples of different light bulbs.
14 to post that the URLs were posted incorrectly and then post the
corrected URLs.
27 to post about links they found from the URLs that are relevant to
this group which makes light bulbs relevant to this group.
33 to link all posts to date, quote them in their entirety including
all headers and signatures, and add “Me too”.
12 to post to the group that they will no longer post because they
cannot handle the light bulb controversy.
19 to quote the “Me too’s” to say “Me three”.
4 to suggest that posters request the light bulb FAQ.
44 to ask what is a “FAQ”?
4 to say “didn’t we go through this already a short time ago?”
143 to say “do a search on ‘light bulbs’ before posting questions
about light bulbs”.
1 new forum member to respond to the original post 6 months from now
and to start it all over again.
