LOL! That would be the shortest winter season ever.
Hey, still having fun with that new Mac?!
A Christian I know was angry with someone at his workplace over a perceived injustice. A colleague listened to his grievance and sensed that his temper still ran high. He gave him this wise advice to consider before confronting those involved: Cooler heads prevail.
As we interact with others, disagreements are inevitable. The discerning believer understands his own heart and takes steps to deal with conflict diplomatically.
Proverbs 17:27 tells us: He who has knowledge spares his words. This means keeping in check a multitude of opinions that could ignite further anger in others. Someone who displays wisdom will think before speaking, and then will share only insights likely to be helpful.
The Proverbs also give us wise counsel on the emotional side of controlling our frustrations. A man of understanding is of a calm spirit. A mature person exhibits understanding by keeping cool in conflict. Problem-solving is enhanced by an even-tempered approach.
The next time you become angry, stop and prayerfully reflect for a moment. Ask God for a calm spirit and the right words to say.
Remember, cooler heads prevail.
Well, what do ya know? Finally got to hear the music! Man, what a band he does have, Billie! Thanks, it was terrific!
I did the right-click thing just to see if it worked for me and it did. Thought “Amy” would drop dead from a heart attack...LOL!
I tried all day to get on F. R. and gave up about 3 or 4, I believe it was. Glad to see it back up again. I can’t figure out what the problem could be so often.
That kitten graphic is so precious, Meg.
The little girls are just darling.
Good celebrations! Love all those teddy bears together, they are so cute and colorful! I kept that graphic in my folder.
Thats a cute little ‘green’ teddy bear, Kitty!
I will be a Teddy Bear in my next life and I would like to belong to Elvis...LOL~~~!
How precious....little bear blowing heart kisses!
I still have that one uploaded. :) Here 'ya go:
LOL! She's gotta be in great shape to get through 7 minutes at that pace. :)
Jaycee, he's got a DVD coming out in February of a live 84 minute concert in California. Everyone needs to see him live once in their life! :) Short of that, a DVD of a live concert will do. :)
Wish my music was in order like that, Billie!
That was great....Elvis is ‘something else’. So glad I saw him in concert twice. That last one was toward the end. He was very heavy and if I’m not mistaken, he died about three months after his last visit here. I will never forget that day. A friend called about 3 in the afternoon and said “Have you heard that Elvis just died?” And I said to her “Debbie, please don’t say things like that!” But it was true. I truly thought at first she was just kidding with me. ~~sigh~~
LOL! I scrolled past here just now and saw this Teddy Bear twice and thought my post must have posted twice! :)
Gee, we must have posted my Teddies at the same time!
I need to get dinner finished. Will come back later and at least say goodnight. :) We just got such a late start today. I do hope that FR's problems are soon fixed and it's more stable again.
G.G, same here today! And so cold and more cold tomorrow. I had to run out once today but thats all. I feel like you, I am a ‘spring person’ for sure. I am happier in the spring and summer. Bluer in the cold winter months here in Tennessee.
You’ve got that right, Johnn!
I loved this, Johnn, and also the one above referencing Amy’s anniversary! Thanks for putting your words to paper so sweetly. We enjoy!
