GOD BLESS AND PROTECT OUR TROOPS!
Amazing Grace
by John Newton
Amazing grace! How sweet the sound That saved a wretch like me! I once was lost, but now am found; Was blind, but now I see. . Twas grace that taught my heart to fear, . And grace my fears relieved; How precious did that grace appear The hour I first believed! . Through many dangers, toils and snares, I have already come; Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far, And grace will lead me home. . The Lord has promised good to me, His Word my hope secures; He will my Shield and Portion be, As long as life endures. . Yea, when this flesh and heart shall fail, And mortal life shall cease, I shall possess, within the veil, A life of joy and peace. . The earth shall soon dissolve like snow, The sun forbear to shine; But God, Who called me here below, Will be forever mine. . When weve been there ten thousand years, Bright shining as the sun, Weve no less days to sing Gods praise Than when wed first begun.

Thank you so much, jaycee. I loved working with that
beautiful scene..and scripture.
I'm glad you enjoyed the buttons, too..I found myself
exploring and enjoying looking at all different kinds
of buttons.

I have always been fascinated by buttons. My mom sewed a lot and she had all kinds of buttons. I used to love to go into a sewing shop and they would have a wall of buttons and I could stand there all day and look at those buttons.
Thanks Meg!

;o)
Are those Bakelite buttons? I did not get that far.
That is a whole collecting category on its own.
I have a lot of buttons to have never been a seamstress..some of them off of discarded blazers..some extras , some mother of pearl..and some of my mother’s.

I believe they are bakelite. There were a lot of those~~I liked the heart, the smiley and I think the one was a bow tie, if I’m not mistaken. I had another one to post but I will have to reduce it to post it.

These are the rhinestone buttons. Not quite as pretty since I downsized but are nice.
Naptime here, too! I'm watching the Colts game....we are 3 ahead at the moment. Not bragging on that score.
