Wow, what a refrigerator....worse than mine~~LOL~~! No kidding, mine does need a nice cleaning.....let me see, I will add it to my “to do” list......where is that list? Maybe I just threw it away when it overwhelmed me and started over!

Spam is about $6/lb., now, and one can buy one of those canned hams(12 oz.) for $2 on sale. (And actually know what is in it.)

It’s not too bad chopped up, sauteed and put in an omlette or browned for a sandwich.

That is so cute and sweet.

I have my old autograph book from 7th grade. Does anyone have one? You should read some of the writings in there. They are so hilarious...all kinds of little poems, writings, etc. Way in back there was a page turned under. It said “For Dirty People Only”. Of course as young as we were, we were anxious for the dumb answer “Soap and Water”. Those wonderful silly days....”were the days”.

And, my motto is: If it is a strange green color, OR if it tries to grab your arm when you open the refrigerator door - it’s time to clean the durned thing.

Here is what we are seeing and hearing in southern California today:

From West L.A., I can see smoke to the west and north, behind the Santa Monica mtns. This is from the 2,600+ acre Sylmar fire which broke out last night.

We are being told that the fire may affect the Los Angeles power supply, because there is a big power station in its path. Some areas have reported black-outs already. Hopefully, this is just panic talk.

The Montecito fire, further north of us and adjacent to Santa Barbara, is 40% contained after burning 1,800 acres.

Thousands of residents have been evacuated in both areas, and hundreds of homes burned.
