tough to say--I'm a Red Sox fan and normally would cheer for AL team but I could cheer for Phils too. I have been in Philly and to their ballpark, etc. Phils--only champ. in their history was in '80; more losses than any other sports team TB--first time AL Champs, first time world champs?

As BostonDirtDogs points out, 2 ex-Sox managers are around: Jimy Williams and Don Zimmer

Since I’m a long time, die hard Met fan, the Phillies are not for me. NO WAY!

Even growing up a Red Sox fanatic (teen years at the beach with my portable radio on and caught up with Ted Williams and Jim Britt -—— while girlfriends are doing something silly like flirting with the guys), and seeing the Rays overpower the Sox, I still can’t go for the Phillies. Any Met fan would understand.
