Tech was finally stopped..........by the clock!Boy, no kidding! One guy that caught my eye in the first half was RB Baron Batch. He had a great run/catch on a screen play that set up one of the Red Raiders scores. Even though Crabtree and Harrell get much of the press clippings (and for good reason) Batch impressed the hell out of me.

Huge (or is that hugh) blocked PAT. Looks like a penalty flag was thrown.

Our D stinks this week. Carl Pelini is pulling to many substitutions and is causing confusion.

Against tOSU and PSU, the defense only gave up 16 ppg (actually less, because PSU didn't even get an offensive touchdown), but they only managed a total of 9 points in two games on the other side of the ball. Funny, in the game I watched, both Clark and Royster scored touchdowns for PSU. And if you think Paterno's friendship for Tiller didn't impact the score, you don't know Joe.

Almost 90 combined points in the first half, that is just sick. If KSU starts scoring again in the 3rd this might be a modern day scoring record we see today.

I’ll have to look at the NCAA record for a few categories, this could be record setting. This is my reminder to do that.
GOP_Raider, look up the records for most points in a game.

The NCAA D-IA record for most yards gained between both teams in a single game was 1,640 between Nevada and San Jose State on 10 Nov, 2001-—849 and 791 yards, respectively.

I was surprised that Lee Corso picked Ohio State. That’s bad news for us. I bet if Penn St wins they probably will go to the BCS championship game. When people say hey the Big Ten stinks (I’m sire they’ll use different lingo) PSU can respond by saying that they have a decent record versus the SEC and then of course they’ll say if you rake away Ohio State’s loses versus SEC then the Big Ten record versus SEC is actually pretty decent of late.

Turned on the NU/IU game early in the 4th. 80 yards to go...or possibly shorter with 2 mins and change on the clock to get into FG range.
