I was surprised that Lee Corso picked Ohio State. That’s bad news for us. I bet if Penn St wins they probably will go to the BCS championship game. When people say hey the Big Ten stinks (I’m sire they’ll use different lingo) PSU can respond by saying that they have a decent record versus the SEC and then of course they’ll say if you rake away Ohio State’s loses versus SEC then the Big Ten record versus SEC is actually pretty decent of late.
I haven’t got the chance to really see much of the Nittany Lions, but the more I look at how the Buckeyes have Pryor set as the QB and Wells is healthy, I can’t disagree with Corso’s pick. Maybe for the purposes of karma it’s not a good pick, but I would tend to agree with Corso.
Penn State winning out would be somewhat problematic, because should Alabama have no losses or even one loss, would you put them ahead of ‘Bama (all this if and only if Texas wins out and stays at #1)?
