He did well but he didn’t even swing at the “Kill him” lie. The secret service had already determined that there was no evidence and McCain should have said so.

The Obamanoids, including those in the Obamedia, are programmed to convince us that Hussein Obama is the winner of EVERYTHING. Obama got his ass kicked last night.

Most commentators said they McCain only reached the base last night. Even if that is true, that in of itself will be a big help in this election. McCain needs the GOP to turn out like they did in 2004.

I thought he did a great job! Of course the liberal media wants the public to think otherwise. Have you seen the images posted on Yahoo yet? Pathetic.

Watching the FOX “pundits” I thought they were hypnotized by Obama or something.

McCain was a clear winner, had a half dozen zingers, made great points separating the two, he won HUGE.

I was flabbergasted listening to the FOX folks - it was as it they didn’t watch the same debate.

I agree... I think he won. I was driving with it on the radio and cheering like crazy (people in cars nearby must have thought I was nuts) especially the “I am not george bush” followed by Obama’s stupid response and Obama’s support of ACORN, Ayers, and high taxes-— I also thought it was great how McCain made it so Obama’s arrogance that he wouldn’t even apologize for his supporters who likend McCain-Palin to segregation

I was, like you, surprised that FOX had the test group so strongly in Obama’s favor (not so surprised by CNN’s though)

the question is though, how much of this is just to rile up McCain’s base (us) and how much of it will appeal to the undecided voter?

Anyone else noticing a lot more McCain-Palin bumper stickers and signs than Obama-Biden ones? I live in a pretty low income of Connecticut that consistently votes Democrat but I have seen far more McCain stuff than Obama, particularly in the last couple weeks—— noticed the same thing back in Taxachusetts——maybe there is still hope, if even a state as Blue as CT and MA are having such strong support for McCain

Too bad we don’t have a real media or Obama would be called out this morning on his infant born alive lies

No wbill, he did what he had to do..and actually exceeded expectations! I agree with you.

He was able to build a solid narrative thru Joe the Plumber that can be used for the next three weeks hard.

He brought up acorn in a very good way, which should be pounded in our negative ads

He came off as much more sincere and passionate than Obama.

He had the debate line of the year “you should have run in 2004...”

Unfortunately, I felt like I was watching Bob Dole again.

And that we are subject to another teflon President (which freaks me out but gives me the opportunity to remind myself of a favorite quote from David Brinkley:

"I wish to say that we all look forward with great pleasure to four years of wonderful, inspiring speeches full of wit, poetry, music, love and affection and more goddamn nonsense."

I thought he did great. Especially when he told BHO that he was not Bush and he should have run 4 years ago against him.
I also thought he did very well during the first debate.

I thought he was awful, but I think I was just too caught up in the process. After stepping back, I can see that he did get some things out on the table that weren’t there before.

However, I find his inability to articulate a coherent rebuttal to Obama’s devastatingly idiotic plans to be very frustrating. I still saw Obama drop the ball many times and McCain hand it back to him instead of taking it for a touchdown.

So, he did some of what needed to be done and I’m glad for that. He got a lot of folks on our side fired up a bit, which is good. But dammit, how the hell hard is it to slap that stupid 95% of all Americans thing down??

McCain kicked his skinny butt last night - that being said. . .

Good luck trying to get the merchants of agitprop to admit it.

Don't apologize for the vanity!

McCain did win this debate easily. Obama answered very few questions and lied on other answers.

Like the old saying goes, “people get the kind of Government they deserve”. If there are more Marxists and uneducated voters then Capitalists and intelligent voters, (not to mention voter fraud for Obama) on Election Day, then Obama will win.

I think that Mccain/Palin need to start also trying to reach seniors more. There are so many older people that don’t have access to internet or cable and do not hear any of the issues with Obama. They watch local tv and think everything is truth.

I couldn’t believe the poll I just saw on KRON 4, a San Francisco station of all things!

Who won the debate?

McCain 56 percent

Obama 41 percent

Don’t know what the other three percent is.

He not only hit it out of the park, he put the ball in ORBIT.

He completely pasted Fauxbama last night, that’s what I expected from McCain in all the debates, I don’t know why he waited until th third one to show up.

Did anyone else catch Fauxbama snickering when McCain brought up Voter Fraud and ACORN? Apparently tampering with elections is comical to Mr. Fauxbama.
