"Senator Government".
“Senator Government” was a classic. We need to make sure that particular comment grows legs.
I missed most of the debate due to other obligations, but tried hard to catch up on FR’s thread (and even a couple of PUMA sites, which are really fun to read now).
It sounds like “Senator Government” was one great zinger. The line about “I am not George Bush; if you wanted to run against him, you should have run four years ago” was another. Finally, it sounded like he brushed off the Warren Buffett name dropping by bringing the focus back to “Joe the Plumber”.
What were some of the other really great lines? I’d love to see a list, partial or complete!
I thought I read that McCain used a great line to slap Obambi down on his line about being 8 years old when Ayers was on trial, with some question about how old Obambi was in 2001 when Ayers said that “they hadn’t done enough” to kill more Americans in their terrorist heyday, but maybe that was wishful thinking?
