He did well but he didn’t even swing at the “Kill him” lie. The secret service had already determined that there was no evidence and McCain should have said so.

Did that hit the news last night? I've only seen it this morning. McCain may not have gotten the news of that yet.

in fairness, the SS report on the ‘kill him’ story - that really should be covered as to the reporter’s lie - didn’t come out till they were already in lockdown mode for the debate.

I agree with wbill, tho ... the Fox pundits that I saw were watching a different debate than the one I saw. As usually, from my perspective, McCain started off badly on the first round, then got into it and was great for the rest of the night. There were moments I wanted to stand up and cheer. Maybe a little bumbly here and there but certainly I’d say overall the night was his.

And, I’m getting mighty sick of the Fox team, but that’s been coming for a few years now. If Obama wins this election, I’m doing away with cable.

Yeah, there were a few lies I wish he would of covered better as well, but obama lies so dang much that it’s hard to keep up. Mccain didn’t have enough time to combat all the lies. It seemed that obama even started adopting Mccain’s stance on issues when he became clueless to his own stance. It’s really bad when you have to start using your opponents talking points, because you know his plan is better than your own! What a sorry individual!

OVERALL, I THINK MCCAIN WIPED THE FLOOR WITH HIM! obama looked to me like a confused schoolboy sitting next to his wise professor.

Absolutely correct!

Also, Barry used the line "Bush came in with a surplus, now we have a $500 Billion deficit" line again. Why didn't McLame turn to Barry, and say, "Senator Obama is correct. A Republican House and a Republican Senate did balance the budget as promised, but what my friend doesn't seem to understand is that in 2000 we had the Clinton Dot Com bubble burst, which was followed by the 9/11 attacks and the War on Terrorism. I suppose if we were willing to sacrifice 3,000 innocent American lives each year to domestic terrorist attacks, we could have a balanced budget today. Maybe Mr. Obama would agree to that, but not my Administration."

I actually thought Obama made a big mistake by mentioning that people were calling him a terrorist. That might cause some questions to form in a lot of the minds of the uninformed.
