LOL
All I could think about was Algore but I didn’t want to post his ugly mug. (I could have found a rotten log and labeled it Gore.)I couldn’t find anything, then I remembered my graphic of this good looking guy.
I put walnuts and chocolate chips in my oatmeal cookies. I found this recipe on Google. Easier to copy and paste than type a recipe. :)

It’s the other biggest owl in the US, the Great Gray Owl.
I don’t know which it was that flew over my head but it had to be one of the two, it was too big for anything else - unless there’s a Big Wing to go along with Big Foot.

I have read there are Snowy Owls here but in very small numbers. I wouldn’t know where to go to look. Have you seen one? It’s so dark when I hear the Great Horned Owls. I don’t think I’ll ever get to see them.... Not for lack of trying. ;) I love to listen to them.

The menu/price is just incredible! But then, it probably cost just as much, in relation to wages 50 years ago.
To: Lady Jag
The owl or owls that we’ve seen around here are not very large, but still fun to see one. The first one was actually sitting on a fence post, instead of a in tree, and that’s what startled me, because it just sat there, not moving for the longest time! :)
To: MEG33
LOL! I love that last one - yeah, just shoot it, that’ll teach it to hang up. :)
To: JustAmy
I’m so glad you didn’t use Al Gore! :)

Thank you all for the birthday wishes.
I got a card from a relative that had Hillary's photo on the front and inside it said, “See, there is something more scary than getting a year older.”
Better to get a year older than the alternative. :-)

I’ve watched hawks do that, sit still in a spot and not move for hours. Once I thought one was an owl but it turned out to be a hawk which was often mistaken for one!
