Church, dog walk, berry picking and Browns game at 4 here on agenda. Loks like we did have a heavy frost freeze/ I am sure any leaves or branches exposed got nipped but it was not a hard freeze, dont think so will have a few days of grace to get plants in. MUST cut them back first.. 3/4 are over 10 feet & the others ... the youngsters - ones I started this year... about 5 feet.

Here is something for your PUNNY chuckles

*** Those who jump off a bridge in Paris...are in Seine.
*** A backward poet writes...inverse.
*** A man's home is his castle... in a manor of speaking.
*** Dijon vu - the same mustard as before.
*** Practice safe eating - always use condiments.
*** Shotgun wedding: A case of wife or death.
*** A hangover is the wrath of grapes.

*** Dancing cheek-to-cheek is really a form of floor play.
*** Does the name Pavlov ring a bell?
*** Condoms should be used on every conceivable occasion.
*** Reading while sunbathing makes you well red.
*** When two egotists meet, it's an I for an I.
*** A chicken crossing the road is poultry in motion.
*** He often broke into song because he couldn't find the key.

*** A plateau is a high form of flattery.
*** Those who get too big for their britches will be exposed in the end.
*** Once you've seen one shopping center, you've seen a mall.
*** Bakers trade bread recipes on a knead-to-know basis.

Have a Great Lord's Day Everyone!!!!

Lovely spiritual display this morning, Meg. Thank you.

Stayed up for Sat. Nite Live last night....well, I leaned back in the lazy boy and set the timer to wake me up at 11:30 (just in case I went to sleep, which of course I did.) Had a hard time waking up but made it. Just wanted to see Sarah, what a brave woman she is. Slept in a bit this morning, thank goodness.

Later!

Celebrating "Electricity Day", huh?

Ah, yes. I do remember ...

Power!

I once had fire at my fingertips. It leaped at my command.
Others trembled, backed away, just staring at my hand.
They feared me, and the power I held, to cause them hurt and pain,
But what good were their departures, and what stood I to gain?

One can elicit loathing, without a conjured trick,
It only requires one behave, in a manner sick,
Or otherwise unpleasant, to send the others scuttling,
When what you really hope to have is friends toward you shuttling.

I’ll leave off what I’ve learned that chases folks away,
In trade to have them come to me and be a friend that day.
As I go through this life I find I like the people near,
And that I cannot have that if I choose to offer fear.

Good Sunday Morning, Bob.
Great poem and message!
It would fit with Evaluate Yourself Day, too!.
