Was the Stephenville UFO a National Security Threat? american chronicle Franklin D. Fields, Jr. Esq. Stephenville, Texas attracted worldwide attention earlier this year (Jan, 08) after residents sighted an unidentified flying object (UFO) that some say was a mile long. By news accounts, there were more than 30 residents to specifically report the sighting. It was front-page headlines in a large number of news forums. Many of the witnesses were interviewed on national television programs such as CNN´s Larry King Live.
All of the witnesses were credible and none were shown to be perpetrating a hoax. They might have been mistaken, but that seems unlikely since so many people saw the same object. Also, other evidence is available to corroborate their story. There was obviously something flying over Stephenville that might be a national security threat. Why will our government not take this incident seriously?
Steve Allen, a 50-year-old pilot, said that the object was "a mile long and half a mile wide" and that "I don't know if it was a biblical experience or somebody from a different universe or whatever but it was definitely not from around these parts." There is no disputing that Mr. Allen is a credible witness who saw a strange craft and then reported it to authorities. The U.S. Air Force was made aware of the sighting, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) knows about it and even Homeland Security was contacted. However, no official Federal Government Agency has looked into the matter or conducted an official investigation, why not?

I was thinking the exact same. In 2008, very little happens that there isn’t a video or at least a photo to corroborate its occurrence.
Maybe the aliens were looking for a Government bailout? Or they heard that the price of real estate was dropping.
Just for grins and giggles, begin tracking these events as verifiable info for the next few weeks. There might be something more substantial than typical lunatic fringe reporting, pregnant for spiritual insight.
Y'see, now that part gets me.
Something that huge would've been seen by a LOT more people.
More than 30 people saw this thing and not one of them had their cell phone with them to snap a pic?
o the witnesses and the radar data, there are video recordings and even a police radar gun was used to track the object.
PS does any boy read the article.???
Correct me if my maths are wrong, but that's nearly 14 million square feet of bullsh!t spotted above Texas.
A sh!t storm that large is definitely a national security matter!
"Much more important than the possible sudden acceleration shown by the object is its trajectory heading. This object was traveling to the southeast on a direct course towards the Crawford Ranch, also known as President Bushs western White House. The last time the object was seen on radar at 8:00pm, it was continuing on a direct path to Crawford Ranch and was only 10 miles away"
Thanks.
Las Vegas Dave, please ping the list.
Have a full plate tonight and tomorrow.
How many lawyers have you run across that actually use Esq.? I've probably run across a couple in the last 25 years.
Or the terminally UNINFORMED side.
Thanks.
Bush/Rove weather machine headed back to crawford, nothing to see, move on :)
I have a law degree (though I’ve never practiced law). When I joined the Board of a non-profit run by some people whose native language isn’t English, they listed me on their website as “[name], Esq.”, thinking it was “correct”. I was horrified and insisted it be removed immediately. No way do I want anyone bumping into that and thinking that I must have asked to be listed as “Esq.”. It’s utterly pretentious.
The fact that there has been no official or public investigation does not mean the incident has not been investigated by the government.
BTW, can’t radar signatures estimate the size of an object?
What if they were wormhole travelling space Mexicans?
Where’s the picture of Obama floating throught the clouds puffing on a crack pipe when you need it?
>Funny how these damned thing always show up when NOBODY has a camera or a cell phone with a camera.
Otherwise I have no doubt this would be a very impressive story.<
You have to be kidding, If the photo doesn’t have absolute clarity it would be ridiculed as being fuzzy and is obviously photoshopped.
