The elitism is just oozing out of leftist circles. My Berkeley aunt, who I used to think of as a fenimist was the one who sent the photoshopped pic of Palin in a stars and stripes bikini holding a gun. My liberal mom sent an email making fun of Palin for attending state colleges and naming her kids weird names. It’s like turning over a rock out there!
I don’t understand how these media personalities think elitism is going to help their guy’s cause this November.
And why should I care what foreigners think about whom we should elect? Do they really have our interests in mind, or their own?
I feel for ya. my SIL, who introduced me to her brother, only dared send the SNL skit.....she is a diehard dem, sometimes for fun I say something political at a family gathering - another SIL who pays attention to politics is a diehard pubbie....with a brother who commands a ship in the navy, I have good backup. ;^)
