I'm hoping that you woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning and that explains your grumpiness. We have some ATRW friends in that area. All we love dearly.
I was going to have the mods remove your inconsiderate post , but I'd rather my FRiends have a go at you.
Before I would make a statement like yours I would have to know everyone's situation. Did you ever think that some are not able to evacuate?
You are correct. They are on their own. But sometimes there are extenuating circumstances why people don’t leave. Further, it does not mean that can’t wish them well and pray for them that damage is minimal.
It has something to do with the fact that while we all deserve justice, we can ask for mercy.
Prayers for kassie who is in the direct path of Ike and for Toby who is on the Gulfcoast.
I don’t believe I’ve seen you on our forum here. You are welcome to stay. We discuss everything here from politics to food recipes. We’re all fans of everything AU. The tie that binds us seems to our support for one another through the trials and challenges of life. We accept one another and while there are some disagreements from time to time, we do so with civility and respect. We mostly state our case and then leave it.
We would love to have you join us if you can follow those guidelines. Do you dance?

Saw the rest of the Sarah Palin interview with Charlie Gibson last night. She did just fine.
It wouldn't have been so bad had Gibson asked the same tough questions on barry. Unfortunately we know the story there.
Palin did just great and has a better grasp on what's going on out there in the world than most democrats.

The man is a fraud from the word go. When he uttered "my Muslin faith" last week that told me alot. He continues to say he's a Christian while saying this?
There can be no mistake in declaring your belief in God. It is central to who we are.
I saw some of the interview, too. Did you see his facial expressions and hear his tone of voice? It was as though he was lecturing her.
He was very condescending.
I've always been taught that when you're invited to someone's house you treat them with respect. They were in Palin's home and he was very condescending to her.
You can ask good tough questions without being snide. He was awful, and needs to be taken to the woodshed.
I saw the first interview on Thursday evening. That was enough. I plan on avoiding all liberal propaganda shows from now on.
I know, I know. I need to do something to raise my bp and that would certainly do it. OTOH, I just don’t like their smarmy presentations.
His mamma didn't raise him right. Poor boy. Bless his heart.

i really couldn’t leave because i have 5 large dogs & i have to keep them seperated because they all think they r the Alpha male or female

90 miles is not all that far inland and this is a very big storm.
